100% Organic Spelt Berries - 25 lbs

The spelt grains are really great - there is no dirt inside the bag, it looks fresh, and the price is unbeatable. One of the best and healthiest grains you can use for bread. Buying spelt flour is more costly. I grind this in the Vitamix "dry" container. Works well. I have to grind it twice to get it powdery but even when it's not it doesn't bother me. I add several seeds to my bread and it takes so good! My huge bag was slightly busted in one of the corners but that can be expected. Overall, excellent product! (By the way I have bought the red berries from this Co and their white organic flour - all have been excellent.)

Bag arrived all torn up and grain was full of worms!

The product is great. The shipping was sloppy. Shipped 2 -25lb bags in the same box without any stuffing, one bag was split open. Too heavy to handle for carrier. Should have each 25 lb bag shipped in individual boxes.

I needed a certain quality of berries for the bread I’m making. The picture says “13% protein”, but the nutrition facts on the bag says 7%. Which sucks bc I needed high protein product for my loaves.

Love the spelt grain I grind them for flour the only complaint is the paper bag has a small rip and the grain was all over the box considering they are expensive I really would like them seal better I don’t want to loose none of them .thank you

I often buy Central Milling whole grains and mill them as needed for my bread baking. Quality grains. Reliable.

I received my bag of Spelt and it’s full of bugs. I own a Whole Grain Store and have for over 20 years, this has never happened. I keep my storage area really cold. I want a replacement since this bag was $76.00.
