Kicker CWCD84 dual 4ohm voice coils
I believe this is a second or 3rd purchase from seller. All experiences have been good. Speaker appears and performs as a new Sub. RMS power is 200w , peak 400w. Kicker subs are quality material and construction. Mounting depth and width seem standard. Have purchased many subwoofers from Amazon, and all subs are mounted in a Skar Audio prefabricated ported Sub box tuned at 35-40hz. The Kicker CWCD84 sounds as good as some of the larger magnet more expensive subs I've tested. I also have a Kicker Comp C8 in the rear deck. 400w to each Sub and I get a great bass experience. 4 of the Kicker CWCD84 subs in a proper enclosure with 1000w-2500w would slam pretty hard. Great value at this price point if you can find it.

Great Fit for 98-00 Lexus LS400 Rear Deck
Purchased this as replacement for a blown OEM subwoofer in a 99 Lexus LS400 with the Nakamichi Premium Stereo. Original sub was 6 ohms; so I followed the included instructions to wire the Kicker in an 8 ohm configuration. This is an ideal replacement as it is designed for free air applications. Installation was not as simple as removing the old sub and installing the new one using the same bracket. The original factory sub and mounting bracket are one single piece. To mount the Kicker in the rear deck of the car, I purchased an MJM Subwoofer Speaker Adapter Ring on Amazon for a 2006-12 Toyota Rav4. Two of the 4 holes line up perfectly. I traced the original bracket onto a piece of cardboard, then used that as a template to drill 1 new hole into the MJM adapter ring. With that, I was able to align 3 of the 4 holes with the factory bolt locations. It feels secure and works with no rattles. Very satisfied with this Kicker CompC 8" subwoofer! Sounds great for the price - highly recommended.
