Big Jar
If you bake a lot of cookies this jar will be great for you. But it's very big and I don't bake enough to fill it. I would have like one half the size.

Not le creuset quality
This looks and feels like a free promotional item not the high quality expected from le Creuset. Even the shipping material is a plain card board box with no mention of le Creuset. Certainly not something I would feel comfortable giving as a present.As far as performance the lid is not air tight and would not be able to be used to store any type of food for long periods.
