Bioluz LED Full Spectrum Grow Light Bulbs for Indoor Plants, A19 Bulbs, 3 Pack, Energy-Efficient, Indoor Growing Light

First off I'd like to say I came to this product for the same reason and purpose as everyone else, to find a source of keeping my plant alive and happy. Upon reading the reviews I was content with proceeding with my purchase. There were some reviews who said the lights didn't last very long. Well I'm going on a few weeks now of my lightbulb running for a good 8 hours a day on my plant and it is finally looking happy again.When receiving my lightbulbs in the mail, I noticed one of the bulbs had a broken piece inside. I'm sure it happened during shipping. I always get to see first hand how the mail carriers (some not all) treat packages so I usually more times than not, blame the shipping process before I ever blame the shipper.I was going to let it slide and say oh well, I at least have 2 that are still good....but then again if the few comments I seen were true and the bulbs don't last long, then I might want the extra bulb to hold me over before I go onto another wide search for a different plant bulb. Upon contacting the seller and explaining my 1 bulb issue. The seller was amazingly understanding and sent out a new bulb to me. There was no need to ask me for pictures to prove I was not lying, Seller did not even ask for me to return it. Was the most simplest and hassle-free replacement I have ever encountered and that my friends, say a lot about a company/seller. Many times when I've had an issue with a product, and or, something broken, they always make it a hassle, wanting me to package the item up, and ship it back. I am a very busy person, which is why I order online instead of going to an actual store. To make the long story short, The bulbs are GREAT! They do not generate heat, and my almost dead plant is now thriving and looking like a happy succulent once again. The seller of this product is also wonderful and responded back in a timely manner as well as sending me a new replacement bulb with no hassle on my part.I will update this review in over a month or so to let my readers know if my bulb burnt out, had any issues or still shinning bright.

I bought these bulbs to replace standard bulbs in one of my lamps. I have a few plants in that corner of the room that just weren’t thriving. I figured it was just not enough light and started looking at options for plant lights. I saw these bulbs and thought that we’d give it a try. Within two days, my plants were thriving, and they have grown so much! It’s crazy that something as simple as swapping out a light bulb could make such a difference. I love that it looks exactly the same, so no one would ever notice the difference. It looks like a normal lamp, but my plants are super happy and healthy. I’m really happy with this product, and will continue to purchase when they bulbs burn out.

Long-term use and comparison (Mar-Sep): After six months of growing a monstera in a dark corner with the Bioluz grow lights sitting 6” from the monstera leaves, my monstera put out many five or six new leaves but became leggy. While easy on the eyes (looked like about 3000k temp), I don’t think the BioLuz bulb provided quite enough “sun.” I changed to the GE grow bulb (with the fins) and my monstera burned within a day, so I moved the sconce up to a normal height and the monstera shot out two leaves within a month.So, in my own medium-term experience, these BioLuz bulbs would not be great for high, very high, or full-sun requirement plants. Now I have three of these bulbs and I’m not quite sure what to do with them. Perhaps they’d be better for very low and lower light plants, e.g., orchids (phals, oncidium) and African violets.

These bulbs are okay for what I wanted but they aren’t quite what I was hoping for. I just haven’t decided if I want to return them yet. They’re a lot brighter white than I initially thought they’d be for one, but that’s not as big of a dealI mostly bought them to put in lamps that I have near plants that don’t get much sunlight, and while I think they work okay, the bulbs are designed to be more directional than a classic bulb. The light is mostly directed “down” if you put them in a classic grow bulb reflector, which would be fine if that’s what I did. But since I wanted to use them in lamps, the light is being mostly directed straight up, which looks kind of weird in the context of a lamp shade.Overall I think they’re good bulbs, just not the best choice if you’re like me and want to use them in more normal light fixtures.

Since the weather is getting cooler I had to bring in all my plants. They were thriving in the sunshine so I hated to do it. I purchased these bulbs and am very pleased. My plants do not appear to be suffering due to the outdoor/indoor switch. I have the light on a timer 12/hrs on 12/hrs off. The bulbs do not get hot, they are not ridiculously bright, and my plants appear to be happy.

I had some philodendron cuttings slow to sprout. I was getting roots but not extra leaves. I placed one of these bulbs in my bathroom light socket and leave the light on for several hours a day. I've seen substantial sprouting (within 10 days) in my heart shaped leaf and a new sprout on a Mican cutting I thought I killed. I just put another bulb in my ceiling fan for my sitting room until I get a small lamp. My calatheas are opening up and 2 newly purchased mature philodendron (prince of orange and Xanadu) finally stopped acting like they hate me with the addition of this bulb and daily misting. I also appreciate that these are white lights vs the red & blue lights but still effective.Once I figure out portable light fixtures, I will get additional bulbs for my plant areas.

Lovely soft white light. It’s surprising that it’s a grow light. I think it helps my plants still but I probably wouldn’t use it on something that needed super bright light. Provides plenty for my low maintenance plants like pothos, philodendron, etc.

I replaced a few of my ceiling lights and put two into lamps. It worked great in the ceiling lights. Not so much on the floor lamps. Which is ok. The light looks like a normal bulb, but I can tell my plants are loving it. The growth has picked up again since I made the switch. Recommend.

Gives off a nice light, no weird purple hues or anything. Currently using it next to the couch with a large houseplant so doubling as a reading and growing light. Plant has been very happy and showing lots of new growth since installation.
