Candles have a nice scent but for 8 volvoles not worth $35-$39
This 8-pack of votive candles is expensive at $35-$39 but I paid the price because I thought they'd come with candle holders. The candles smell nice but they did not come with a candle holder :( I wanted to use these as stocking stuffers. Scented candles often sell for more but at most... a package of 8 scented votive candles (with no holders) should not have cost more than $23. I like the Yankee brand of candles, but not the price for these votives.

Not as advertised
The scents I received are not remotely close to the scents advertised. Very disappointing.

Completely misleading
Looks like they decided to unload all of their leftover summer scents despite an item description of "festive" and pictures indicating an assortment of holiday-themed fragrances. Not just one or two candles - I ordered two of these (16 candles total) and every single one is decidedly "non-festive". Despicable practice by a seller more concerned with making a quick buck than with running an honest business.

The retail price for these are 1.99 each. This is a blatant quarantine mark up. Shameful.

HORRIBLE!
These candles smelled devine when I unpacked them. I lit two today. Really didn't smell them, and they melted, and the wick went out within an hour. Very disappointed. Normally, this brand of candle is wonderful! They're always a little more expensive than others, unless you catch them on sale, but worth it, because they last forever, and the scent is Heavenly. Not these.
