Product Description Director and host James Fox assembles the most credible UFO witnesses from around the world to testify on the subject and share their experiences and observations. Air Force generals, astronauts, military and commercial pilots, government and FAA officials from seven countries gather at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. to tell stories that, as former Arizona governor Fife Symington states, 'will challenge your reality.' These accounts reveal a behind-the-scenes U.S. operation whose policy, in the eyes of some observers, seems to involve confiscation of substantiating evidence from close encounters--to the extent that even Presidents have failed to get straight answers. .com Opening with an extensive review of the multiple UFO sightings that occurred in Arizona in 1997, James Fox's documentary I Know What I Saw makes a pretty convincing case for extraterrestrial life compared to the average conspiracy flick. Packed with ample interview footage and conference clips involving numerous American government and military officials, this History Channel program distinguishes itself from sensationalistic alien junk by proposing that 5 percent of UFO reports are indeed valid, as filed by reputable individuals. Moreover, many of these officials speak with Fox about what they believe are cover-ups and hesitations on the parts of military agencies, namely the U.S. Air Force. Bolstering his argument by showing entertainingly fake vintage film clips from the 1952 flying saucer craze, Fox pits this footage against clips starring members of the air force, like Allen Hynck, hinting at military policies of secrecy. These cover-ups, Fox argues, have been going on for over 50 years, at least in America. Returning to his case in point, Arizona 1997, Fox interviews ex-Arizona governor Fyfe Symington, as well as other government officials who believe that Americans have a right to investigation where investigation is due. As is typical in UFO documentaries, there is no concrete proof provided here, only more seemingly legitimate arguments for the alien case. The whole documentary has an air of danger, like the eerie film The Fourth Kind, as if Earthlings are in peril should our governments fail to intervene with aliens on our behalf. While it may not convince the hardiest skeptics, there is certainly more credibility here than one will find in most sightings videos. --Trinie Dalton

Fun and Informative Video!
Highly recommend this heavily fact-based documentary. It's very enlightening, a little bit frightening and just plain fun. Everyone has seen something unexplainable at some point in their lives if they have spent any time outdoors--my husband and I both have. We are firm believer's, and this video, filled with credible witness accounts, underscores how widespread the UFO phenomenon really is. As ardent fans of the shows Ancient Aliens, Evidence, etc. we already believed, but it is a little scary to be shown the vast scope of the sightings, which is illustrated in this documentary. It's one thing to laugh and believe, but another to actually have those suspicions confirmed by such distinguished, reputable and professional people. If an astronaut like Gordon Cooper tells you there are UFO's NOT from this world, we believe it.Having watched both "Out of the Blue" and "I Know What I Saw", we have to say the latter is a tighter film, but we enjoyed both of Mr. Fox's documentaries. "Out of the Blue" had information in it we had not seen before, and it's pretty darned engrossing. We also loved the second DVD disc included in "Out of the Blue", which carried more in-depth coverage of the Disclosure Press Conference--I believe it showed most of it.Again, would highly recommend everyone watch this film. We purchased several copies and passed them to friends and family. Even those who first considered the subject "woo-woo" ended up believers, or at least more open-minded. The UFO subject has definitely moved from fringe to mainstream these past few decades, but how can it not, when people in Phoenix saw a mile-long object, which made no sound, pass slowly over their heads? Flares...right, lol....Looking forward to more offerings from this team of producers. Top notch editing, riveting subject matter, and lots of "wow" moments included.

Very Good Follow Up to Out of the Blue
This is the follow on program to James Fox's "Out of the Blue". Sort of an updated version incorporating information regarding a rash of recent sightings that occurred just after the release of OoB. It is not all new material, but mostly new material. The production values have improved since the OoB, because of its success. The big scoop with this show is Gov. Symington going on camera to reveal that he too had seen the mighty triangle over Phoenix. That really is a big deal. Fox got it. Additional good interviews with key players concerning Rendlesham Forest. There is the interview with Parviz Jafari - another huge scoop, because there is documentary evidence that the CIA was very interested in this case and had their contacts in Iran forward all the data to them for review. Good stuff on the Belgian flap - that has been well covered before, and an interview with pilot Ray Bowyer of the recent and now famous Channel Islands sighting. There is also a bit of the relatively recent Stephenville sighting, but not enough. Some of the key players spend little or no time on camera. This was a lost opportunity. My chief criticism of the program is that it was probably rushed to market to capitalize on the notoriety of some of these recent sightings, which got quite a lot of press. He could have gone into more detail with these recent sightings, more in depth interviews and more of them - then, while spending time doing these sightings justice, he might have been in a position to do - or attempt to do some coverage regarding the O'Hare airport sighting. Overall, still very, very good.

Best documentary
I agree with all the reviewers - this is one of the best, if not the best, documentary on UFOs that I've seen. When I watched it for the first time, I have to admit I was rather scared. With all the extremely credible witnesses around the world, I have to believe in UFOs, or intelligent beings visiting here, for unknown reasons. You will find this program riveting. I also have "Phoenix Lights", and some reviewers compared the two and found "I Know What I Saw" better. But my own view is that you can't compare the two - they are very different - one is about the Phoenix Lights sighting in particular (excellent! 5-star), and I Know What I Saw covers the best UFO sightings: mass Belgian sighting, UFO craft on a military base, pilot captains witnessing cigar-shaped lights (and radar to prove it), Stephenville TX siting in which the whole town saw a V-shaped object, French government 3-year study on UFOs and claiming the best explanation is "outside our earth", and many more really fascinating incidents which I can't go into any detail here. My advice is to buy both (they are not the same). Also, if you want a really good 3rd choice, get "Unsolved Mysteries: UFOs" - this is VERY good too!

Excellent Eyewitness Accounts
Professionally done documentary with videos and photos of ufos that are well documented. The eyewitness accounts of those sharing their experiences of their ufo sighting and interviews with pilots (military and commercial) and astronauts who also had ufo sightings was fascinating and engaging. Can't get more reputable people than that! This is a must have documentary.

I just wonder what all of this means ! Seriously !
I am new to all of this. I was the biggest skeptic I ever knew about UFO's. But this movie - - the other UFO movies I have seen lately - - like "Out of the Blue", "Phoenix Lights" and "UFO's: The Best Evidence" have showed me things from credible people that I just shake my head and wonder "What the heck is going on in the world." And what really is interesting is our United States government's absolute obstruction in all of this classified info for the past 50-years or so now. I suppose if the truth were truly known, it would throw the world into a tailspin in terms of some of life's most sacred beliefs. I truly am wondering about all of this - - and wonder what it all means.

Best UFO Documentary Out There
This is doubtless the best UFO study available on DVD. That's not saying a lot, considering how much garbage is out. Until someone comes forward with hard evidence, this will have to do.

Professional
Seth Adams produced a different precursor of sorts to this documentary, the focus in both being upon irrefutable well-documented mass sightings and a convention of world government and military officials gathering together to present & discuss what they/we know. Sober... gives the proper time to featured speakers, lets them speak, remains logical and sound in presentation.

I know what I saw
I bought my parents in Engand a host of DVD's to watch. This was one of the documentaries. It arrived quickly, and without fuss. I likeit because all the people who give their stories are reliable people; pilots, military personnel, avation officials, and astronauts. I know my parents, who are very sceptical, will enjoy this.
