I had one previously but from different company and wore out so got this one which I like much betterHighly recommend !!

Not the best item for support nor firming up the midsection nor back. Not enough velcro to hold the waist band in place. I may return it as it's not a good product.

Out of all the waist belt units I’ve owned this one is the winner and I will be ordering another one for the future so I have backup

This wrap I ordered to replace an old one that it’s Velcro worn off, which is inevitable with these wraps, but I wish I had picked a wrap with sizing choices. This really did not suit my 27’’ waist. It was too large for me to get ample compression.It seems quite well made, and I’ve used many of these, enough to sort of be a binder/trimmer expert, but I’d go for a NON one size fits all product, for a more reassuring fit, or it’s a gamble, especially if you are on the smaller side of the spectrum.I don’t think it’s got enough lumbar-type of support for true back pain relief. Well, that’s actually not fair, any wrap that is tight around the lower back will provide SOME sort of support, which in turn does aid in pain relief, but this isn’t a wrap that is designed for that purpose.A waist trimmer/ exercise binder , such as this one, is not really used for treatment of back pain, but for weight loss and body shaping. Also, for helping to keep both sides of the abdominals together to either prevent separation of them (diastasis recti), or to help heal a diastasis, which can cause you back pain, as well I know. I once had a bad one after my twins. I was able to self repair it. Binding was key!But they sell rugged back support wraps/ braces for people with back pain who are seeking pain relief, as their goal. That’s not the purpose of this item, although it may help prevent some pain by keeping the abs tight and together, and supporting the back a bit during exercise, but for me there was just not enough compression, so it missed the mark.Being that it’s surely a quality made product, I have to give it a fair 3 star rating, but be sure to be careful with sizing. If you are exercising and trying to bring your waist size down, you may find a garment that has various sizes a more suitable option.If you are within 10 inches of the maximum waist at least, I’d say that you most likely would be OK, but I’m going to stick to sized binders. I couldn’t wear this for the intended purpose, but it does look like a decent option for those it fits.

I'm under no illusion that these type of belts aid in burning fat. All they do is make you sweat more and trap heat. If you're looking to lose some water weight, then using this belt may make sense for you. I wear it when on the treadmill when it's cooler in the morning and will use it in the fall and winter. It definitely traps heat and that's the purpose of it. Trapping heat will not make your body more thermogenic and as a result burn calories. The only way you're going to do that is to be in a calorie deficit and exercise and use more calories than you consume. Sweating is very good for you and gets rid a lot of toxins from your body. So for that this spelled really is useful.

My body is pretty petite, so I was afraid that trying this belt would strain my tiny frame--but I turned out just fine. I can even sit comfortably with it wrapped around me. The Velcro bonds reliably and it definitely won't wear out anytime soon, if ever. It nicely contours my body, meaning that this would fit well with most body types.It's pretty effective in regulating my breathing too, which would make my exercises more intense. It's like forcing me to breathe at a faster rate than usual due to the pressure on my belly.Amazon is asking me to rate this based on its "pain relief" factor but I wouldn't recommend using it for that purpose. It seems too soft to be used as lumbar support and correcting your posture.
