Didn’t Expect to Find a Russian ABC Book on Amazon — But This One Is a Gem 📚✨
If you told me I’d be ordering a Russian bukvar on Amazon, I would’ve laughed… and then happily clicked “Buy Now.” I was genuinely surprised (in the best way) to find a Russian primer available here — and the quality exceeded my expectations. The book is well-made, sturdy, and feels like a proper, traditional ABC book, not a flimsy reprint. The print quality is great, the pages are clear and easy to read, and it’s perfect for introducing the Russian language to kids. Such a lovely find for bilingual families or anyone wanting to teach their child Russian. Definitely one of those rare Amazon discoveries that makes you smile.

The best way to learn to read
This is a book for children who want to learn how to read. It teaches to read in the most effective way. However, this applies to reading in Russian. It is hardly can be applied to English, with one exception - it is much easier for a child who understands the structure of Russian words to memorise English spelling. This child understands the general concept of a printed word much better. (Speaking from my own experience)

Great!
Beautiful picture, not too much on a page, letters in order from simple to more complex, which is the whole point of the book. My 4 y.o. loves it and it helps her learn how to read.

Teaching my 8 yr.old the basics I like the layout, easy to follow instructions. It begins easy with one letter at a time then as you follow along you start putting two letters together for syllables. By the end they should be able to read a little story. We’re not there yet but this looks promising.

It is a nice book for a preschooler: structure and content is good, letters are large enough, coloring is nice. It is not structured alphabetically but still good, gradually words become complex.
