Brilliant. Does exactly what it's supposed to do
Tried for over 45 minutes to remove the spring from the washing machine - using all sorts of general tools - pliers, screwdrivers, fingers. Gave up after 45 minutes.Bit of Googling and this came up.Removed the washing machine spring, easily, in less than 2 minutes. If you need to removed a washing machine spring, this is the perfect tool for the job.But this - you won't be disappointed. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent tool, makes job easy.
Makes the removal and re-fitting of the spring clamp an absolute breeze. So much easier than using screwdrivers and pliers. Money well spent, definitely recommend.

Works 100% on beko machines
What no one tells you in the YouTube videos is that you will need this tool for the outer seal. The inner seal is easy the outer not so much I wasted an hour trying to pry the outer seal on in the end I gave up and bought this tool.Once I had the tool it was a 2 minute job to fit the spring clamp.Local engineer wanted £75 to come out, cost £20 for seal and £20 for this tool, no longer than an hours job.The negative reviews must be from engineers loosing money on £75 call out fees.

Absolute god send
After spending about half an hour trying to get the stupid spring loaded clip back on, scratching the machine with a screwdriver, taking the skin off my knuckle and a lot of really bad language, I decided to get the right tool for the job. Turned up the next day and took my about 10 seconds to refit the clip. I wish I'd bought this before even trying to replace the pump. Seems to be a mixed view on these, but mine were spot on, easy to use and look like reasonably good quality. I took the chance and it paid off for me.

Pliers didn't work as intended - item returned
Unfortunately the pliers didn't work as intended. The jaws of the pliers where unable the stretch the wire band spring enough to work properly.... having to return item disappointed :(

Spring removal/refitting pliers for LG washing machine
I bought these because they were a third of the price of the official pliers and I knew I'd probably only use them once. Also, the official pliers at around £80 only got a three star review. I had to give these three stars too. The problem I had was they didn't open the spring quite enough. The tips were just a little too thick to easily go into the available loops. Having said that, I would never have been able to put the new spring on without them, but it was more of a struggle than it should have been! If the pliers had opened just one extra centimetre or the tips had been narrower so I could engage the loops that were nearest together, I'd have awarded five stars.

Handy product
The media could not be loaded. This was sold as a used item but you'd never know. Worked perfectly for the job. It will only be of use on the outer clip.

Does exactly what it needs to, and you WILL need it.
You might think you don't need this to open these springs. You do. Even then it's still not that easy but I spent at least 3 hours fruitlessly trying using various 'hacks' (cable ties, multiple screwdrivers snd clamps etc) on my LG washer dryer. I originally got the spring off easily enough but getting it back on... a whole different story. To make things worse it's only one of the two that needs it! It's cheaper than others I've seen and well made. And my washer/dryer now works (had to take it completely apart. For gods sake label ALL the screws and parts and put them in compartments so they don't get mixed up). Then flog it on eBay, after all it's pretty much as new!
