AutoPilot APA0003 Tri-Sensor Assembly with Attached 12-Foot Cord

I had a number of issues to work out on my salt system to get it working properly again. My original valve became defective from another check valve failing and it began a slow leak. Follow the directions to replace this sensor because it was a bit hard to remove the original but a pair of channel locks helped. Once the original sensor has been removed, the act of installing this new one is very simple and straight forward. It's been about 4 months for me since replacement and my system is working fine. If you are a DYIr replacing this valve on your own with save you some big bucks.

My AutoPilot kept flashing a red light with the statement "Purifier off, check flow!" I had the pool guy come out at a charge of $99, who told me that it would be another $275 to replace the sensor. I said no thanks, and went online to buy it myself. Found this one described as "repackaged, like new" that was listed as used from Amazon Warehouse Deals for $128, which was delivered to my door via Amazon Prime in two days. I went online to check the replacement steps and had the old device removed and the new one installed in about 15-20 minutes. The flashing red light is gone, and the AutoPilot is running fine now. Happy ending!

Solved my problem with salt, and temperature error messages. Easy to install. Works as advertised. I'm glad I tried this solution to the many error messages I was getting rather than paying a service person to come out and charge me $500 to replace the "motherboard" again. I definitely recommend this solution if you are getting a lot or error messages from your Autopilot!!!

Easy to replace. My original sensor lasted approximately 6 years. The replacement lasted 2 years. This one will hopefully last longer. It is still a lot less expensive than a new salt generator system.

Great replacement for the one I had with the cable that you had to plug in to the tri- sensor. This one had that end attached inside the tri-sensor its self. Went on with no problems and no more error messages or warnings. This is made to go inside the PVC manifold not out like mine was. This fit inside mine like it was made for it.

My Autopilot salt generator was having all sorts of erroneous readings, telling me to add more salt and not generating adequate chlorine, among other things. Instead of calling a technician, I replaced the Tri-Sensor Assembly and solved my problem. I could have gotten it a little cheaper but with Amazon Prime, I got it shipped in 2 days and received it on a Saturday. You can't beat that for service.

Update: should have taken a hint when the temp was off. After 6weeks flow sensor stopped working shutting the unit down. Contacted seller and no response.
