Relish Large Piece Puzzles for Seniors, 35 Piece Bathing Birds Jigsaw Puzzle, Dementia Products for Elderly

My brother has dementia, I purchased this puzzle hoping he would try it. He worked on it off and on for three days. I was so proudThe only drawback is the price.

I've purchased several of this brand puzzle to be done by disabled adults. I like that the box contains the puzzle with a visual example. Because the boxes are sturdy and the same size, several puzzles can be stored in a small space.

This puzzle is very attractive for my mom with mid demensia. The colors are not too bright and each bird is very recognizable. The puzzle itself is a challenge for her, but keeps us busy. We work on matching the parts. Matching the pieces to the picture and then finding their place in the actual puzzle. We talk about each of the pretty birds. There is enough detail to keep her mind busy whether she is actively working on the puzzle pieces or just discussing the colors of the birds. But not too much stimuli to make her anxious. I highly recomend this puzzle for mid demensia.

I cant say enough about this puzzle. Pieces are easy to hold, handle, assemble, very pretty, high quality, great design, and the box is built as the puzzle board so pieces are not lost. i gave this as a gift to a couple and they've assembled and reassembled it a dozen times.... they love it... I just wish there were more TRAINS as an option since that is what he likes the most. I'd buy all of them if there were more trains. HIGHLY recommended to get this as a gift for a loved on who has dementia or difficulties. A+ for the people who created it !

Beautiful puzzle, very colorful. My 90 year old mother-in-law with some cognitive decline enjoyed making this puzzle. It was not too hard for her but it did take just a bit of help. Depending upon the stages of dementia one is in the puzzle could be difficult.

I purchased this for my mother who has dementia. She loves it. I cana recommend.

UPDATE: Replacement is perfect, has great purpose. A suggestion is to only use the outer pieces if it is too overwhelming for a person to start from scratch. This approach has made this much more fulfilling for my momPrevious review: Before ordering I saw numerous reviews mentioning a missing piece. I figured it was random out of hundreds of puzzles sold. I ordered my bird puzzle for my mother and the left corner piece is missing. How long is it going to take this manufacturer to put a Quality Control check in before they mail out their product.? It would seem cheaper for the company to do a quality check before sending out because now they have to send me another one through Amazon replacement tomorrow. Anyway I think that the product is good and deserves 5 STARS But because the company is being lazy and not checking that all the pieces are there before selling I gave them one star because that is a waste of effort and waste of transportation fuel, packing paper, which hurts the environment.

I received the puzzles unwrapped and missing pieces. I am very disappointed since I ordered this for my mom who has dementia
