I have had a medical condition for forty years that requires I sleep in hearing protectors; earplugs and I are not friends. This beats all the pairs that I've worn out, with respect to the auditory range occupied by air conditioners and electric fans--I have to take them off to tell if the appliances are running (and my AC sounds like a freight train). Not so good for helicopters, which I get a lot of, but pretty decent for jet skis, which can get to within 200 feet of my bed. Their slim profile is far more comfortable than most. They can be a little difficult to unfold, and they are easier to knock off when working outdoors than some competing brands, but frankly, I prefer them to all the major brands I've tried including Peltor, American Optic, and Crosman.Postscript: Many months later, still working and in good shape. I have found that buying a nice pair of very soft socks and folding them over themselves halfway, then slipping them over the ends of the hearing protectors, makes it far more comfortable than having plastic against the ears. It actually augments the sound resistance, and it protects the soft plastic of the ear pads. I guess if one were going to the gun range, one could use camo socks. The de facto covers can be washed as often as needed, too.

These ear protectors feature a gel cushion and extra deep foam sound damping inserts. Excellent product.

Was shooting a 9mm in door. Ears ringing still 6 hours later. If you’re shooting do yourself a favor And PLEASE buy ear plugs to go inside for another layer of protection.

I really didn't know what to expect and did research before I finally purchased this ear protection. I think they worked really well. Definitely muffled the sound and I was close to the other shooters in our line up. I bought a pair for my son and husband (all took the same class) and they liked them as well. These are adjustable and comfortable while providing close coverage to your ears. I would recommend these as I think they were a good pair for a good price.

At first glance I love the OD green color and slim look of the ear muffs.  When trying them on I find that it is a little tough for me to get a good deal over my ears but once everything is set up I'm very impressed with them. I did a side by side comparison with an $800 military issued pair and to my surprise they worked very similar. Obviously the much more expensive pair had a better feel but for a fraction of the price these are well worth it. I'm very pleased with this product and can't wait to head to the range to try them out with gun fire. The only issue I notice is that if I touch the microphone/windshield I get a loud amplified feedback that is loud enough for those around me to hear, besides that I like them.

These CAN muffle very effectively -- IF you hold them tight to your head with your hands and crush your ears. But the wire across the top is so weak it cannot hold them tight without help. To make it worse, the muffs are stuffed FULL of foam, so much foam there is little room for ears, which is the whole point. I found them painful to wear for more than one minute or so. Plus, not very effective at their job. I ordered a new Peltor pair and even though the dB rating on these is higher than the Peltor, the Peltor was way more effective at actually stopping noise, and more comfortable. Returned these.

This is the best set of hearing protection headphones I have ever purchased. Lightweight, great noise cancellation, very comfortable and a perfect size as opposed to other much bulkier models I have used in the past. Batteries are easy to change and the volume control is in a great location for ease of operation while on the range.

With these electronic headphones I can still hear my friends talking at the gun range no problem. I have shot basically every normal caliber from .22LR up to 5.56 with them on and they muffle the noise very good. I have also heard things like .30-30, .308 and even .30-06 from people shooting next to me on the range and they muffle those calibers just as well too.They are very comfy on head, and I have a fat head. they fit great and feel good.

I bought these for my learner with ASD, he has noise sensitivities and these work so well! They’re fully adjustable and he could make it fit to the right length on the sides.

Bought for my kids and they lice then.. comfortable too.

The looks weak, but they are really strong. It's hard to brake. Sound reduction is good, my hearing is safe, but I still can hear the other people and speak with them without removing headphones.
