Used to prop up the corner of a cabinet.I would have like there to be a locking nut on the adjustable thread, to avoid it moving.

No nonsense proper items. GREAT!

I have had these and similar items previously. I have used them in awkward situations when putting up some decking they proved superb. The only issue was finding the right size bolts or screws etc. I’m the end I modified some coach bolts. No slippage, no failure and very pleased.

Great quality and easy to adjust

These are really useful, but not quite so straightforward… when wound all the way in, the threaded bit sticks out the bottom about 20mm, (so had to cut off), however, when the base is set in concrete, the upper but, when screwed in, has quite a bit of movement, which is great, if you haven’t put the base in EXACTLY plumb! Which, considering the product, isn’t the easiest thing to do… So, consider, will a degree of vertical movement, to aid levelling, be suitable for your use? If not, don’t buy them, but if you think it might help, they are brilliant… Summary, would I purchase them again, YES, without doubt… knowing the implications of using them before hand would have been useful, (hence my review), but ultimately, it wouldn’t stop me using them again… (Oh, by the way, I am a professional landscaper with 30 years’ experience, and am quite finicky about details…). Hope this helps…

when needing something to keep good oak posts from the wet ground these were ideal
