Does this desulfate old batteries?

The repair mode worked on my V60 hybrid 12v battery - it was at 8.5v and not taking any charge. I ran the repair function for 4 hours and it then resumed normal charging.

Is this portable? My car's battery is flat after not being used for a while but I have no plug around the car.

I didn't use the charger to start the car outside. I only took the battery out and charged inside . I have a BMW 3series E90 from 2005 and the battery was dead. I've charged the battery now and it's all good . The charger it is made in China but is good .

Yes just use a normal wall socket. The charger doesn't draw a lot of current. If you want to just check the voltage level in your battery, it does not have to be plugged in. Just attach the leads on the charger to the battery.
