Does anyone know what percentage Arnica is in this Boiron gel? 10 % is considered pretty good. Less is not considered as effective.

i found an Arnica gel 50% tincture of fresh organic Arnica montana extract (a ration of 1:20). There are approximately 20 Arnica flower heads per tube. Each gram of gel contains 500 mg of Arnica montana extract. How does that compare?

About how quickly can it "dissolve" a typical small bruise on the arm, etc.?

The faster you apply the Arnica the better it works. My daughter bruises easily and if we can get arnica on right after she bumps into something, and then apply it about three more times that day, the bruise will be faint and only last a couple days, if it even shows up at all. She got her hand slammed in a car door and we put arnica on as soon as it happenwas d and applied it several times that day. It eased her pain and the bruise was a faint line instead of her whole hand being purple. We live this stuff, with three adventurous little people it is essential in our home.

Does it have a strong odor?

No. Zero odor. One might not feel anything ,just cold gel feeling when applied, not even tingling. The effect will be found later by pain being gone. The effect lasts quite a long time(not sure how long) 24hours? I can say at least 12 hours. It makes possible for me to travel long flight confined in narrow space on economy class cabin.

What is the difference between in gel and the cream? Also what type of tube is the cream in?

Both contain the same amount of the active ingredient. It is just a matter of if you prefer a gel or a cream. Both are packaged in a metal tube.
