Solid concept, but unfortunately needs work.The issues are:1. Does not include silicone/rubberized gaskets for making the bulkhead water tight, you must purchase/supply that yourself.2. After supplimenting my own gaskets I discovered the threads are FAR too short when stacking the provided washers and the gaskets.It's more annoying than anything else that they didn't supply washers.However, the fact that there are ***barely*** enough threads to seat the nut on? That's a poor design choice, And that's why it gets 2 stars.

Rare for me to leave a positive review. I can confirm the 3/8" is perfectly suited for 3/8" ID tubing. The barb ridges are slightly larger than 3/8" so it will actually form a seal with the tubing.There are few other accurately described or sized bulkheads on Amazon. Most 3/8" barbs appear to be 9mm being sold as 3/8 and just useless trash.

I used this fitting to add a remote fill port on a plastic marine fuel tank. It’s worked well so far, no issues, and a good price point.
