OK, I needed this for a very specific area and the size was the only one that was close enough to make it work, so I ordered it even though other reviewers said it smelled musty upon arrival.Yes. It arrived packed in a plastic bag and had a horrible moldy smell and even felt damp to the touch. I thought about the sizing issue I had, it had to fit that 3' x 13" profile to be a mat on my bench, and decided for the price, I'd attempt to wash it clean. I filled a bucket with hot water, added a good dose of Woolite, and a dash of Oxyclean powder for good measure. I put the runner in and agitated it for a good 5 minutes or so and then reshaped it and left it to dry in the sun. (Hot sun- full sun for like a day)After this treatment I was happy to find the smell was 100% gone and the runner was dry. It fits almost perfectly on the bench and will keep the bag feet from adding black marks to my paint job. Works perfectly. I only gave it 4 stars just because I had to go through all that to even use it, otherwise it would be a sold 5. It's a well made runner with solid stitching and nice materials.

I give it 3 stars because it's just not very attractive..looks dirty to be honest. It has random dark areas of discolored Jute along with a messy braid pattern. It is sturdy though, I give it that. Just not an attractive piece. I chose white though, maybe that wasn't the best choice?!? I was going to use on my counter during the holidays as a trivet for hot things, just as a warm accent piece with side dishes and appetizers on, etc..I instead put it under my plants as a runner on a wood table. You can't really notice how sort of ''ugly'' it is LOL. That's okay though, It has a home & It will be okay right where it is for now.

This is not a “rug” as advertised when I purchased. It’s a perfect table runner with fun colors. It’s thick and fun!

Purchased for a table runner to cover where my fishtank leaked. Perfect. Beautiful craftsmanship, looks expensive. Is WHITE.

So far so good. It had some dark spots in it that I wasn’t expecting but it still works.

It's fuzzy and not smooth. Makes it look messy and it is. Sheds fibers constantly. It is also crooked. I have tried to straighten it numerous times but it is made that way. Not worth the money. Will be looking for something else.

Love the look and texture of this table runner. It's natural and well made. Great color. Looks better in person. Great size for coffee table--just what I was looking for.
