I needed five of these, but I only bought one based on some of the other revies that complain about poor fit and being fragile.It fits fine. You attach the front and then press down at the rear of the camera. You'll hear a snap and it is on. You should, of course, make sure that the cover is centered before you snap it on.Now, about durability.It is flimsy but it doesn't matter. The cover covers the lens and has a slight catch to keep the cover up when you move it up. The cover itself is thin and wobbly, but it does exactly what you want it to do.If you put the camera with the cover closed (no, it doesn't latch closed) in a small bag (or its own compartment in your computer bag) then the cover will likely last until you decide to upgrade your camera.If you just throw your camera in your bag with all your cables and whatnot, then there is a good chance that the cover will get snagged on something and possibly break.Me? I'm going to order the remaining four covers.

I'm actually very surprised at how well these fit & work after reading some reviews about these & other very similar ones. These easily & snugly snapped on to both of my C920s cams & work flawlessly so far. Both cams are on top of large monitors so they are angled down a bit and the covers are taut enough to not swing open or try to swing down when they are open & cams are in use. There are very obvious friction points on open & close that you can feel "click" into place, as long as you move them to the full open or closed position you're good. These were well worth the price & would buy again.

Is this a very basic, cheap piece of plastic? Yep. Did it snap on and fit my camera perfect? Yep. Can I now get dressed and pick my nose comfortably in my home office? Yep! Will this item win an award for durability? Nope. Does it need to be durable? Nope. Flick open, flick closed. This item has saved me from so much anxiety. It's literally the best WFH item I've purchased.

Not only was this broken upon arrival, it does not fit well at all. This part feels as cheap as it looks. I have a C922 and fit is laughable. There is a considerable gap between the lid and the camera--does not fit flush. Even if it was not broken, from the way it was designed, it looks like it would not open and close more than 10 times before breaking. Charging $9 for something worth less than 0.50 is a highway robbery. Look elsewhere.

The cover seems to snap on all right, and works well to cover the lens, but it falls off whenever you touch it (like to open it)Nothing I do fixes it, so I just deal with it.Update : Rated higher - the camera and microphone work extremely well

This cover is only for a certain class of Logitech cameras, but it's perfect for my C930. It covers the lens and leaves room for the mics on the sides to work perfectly, even with the cover covering the lens. The cover stays open with the lens uncovered and it doesn't look goofy, it's like it's a part of the camera itself.It may be a little pricey for what it is, but it's almost perfect and does the job very well.

I accidentally purchase the C920 version without the privacy cover.This one fits perfectly onto the C920, no gaps and when you raise the cover it stays put and you move it down again,I have meetings at least half of my day and sometimes can accidentally start the meeting with the camera on but the privacy cover will block everything and won't show even a single ray of light.

The privacy cover really works well. The only problem I had was that it would not stay on the camera when I would open it. So I just simply put a little double sided tape and it's like it came with the camera. I would get it again.
