This is fine merino, my daughter loves wearing it at home. She even went to school with it, no need to layer in cold weather. Good quality, easy to wash. I’d size up to have a comfortable fit and have room to grow.

My son loves this shirt for his outdoor nature school. Keeps him warm and also doesn't make him wet when it rains. It is easy to clean. And very, very soft. He wears it all the time. Highly recommend!

Finally caved and spent the money after trying other materials but really nothing is better than wool for layers while skiing. My 11 year old only wants this now, and says it's warmer than fleece and much more comfortable among his many layers. Wore in 15°F conditions and he said it worked great so I'm glad I spent the money.

I wanted to buy wool base layers for my two sons. We do a lot of outdoor activities and wanted them to have the right gear for cold weather camping. I was really impressed with the quality of this brand. I originally wanted Smartwool for them, but they were more expensive and I wanted to save money for their first piece like this since I wasn't sure if they'd like the wool feel. They both slept well in them and the garment is really stylish too. I may buy one for me too.

My son loved the softness of these thermals. Before receiving them I thought they might be itchy for him because wool can sometimes be a little itchy but he loves them so much he said he did not want to take them off. They shipped quickly and we received them quickly. Be sure to order both the top and bottom. I made the mistake of ordering a different bottom for another vendor and they were not the same quality at all so save yourself the trouble and get the top and bottom.

Gave this set to my 7 year old (chose the size 9-10) because he is super tall and I also want them to last through next year. Wow, the perfect thickness ans super soft! Could not be happier with this purchase. Tonight we skiied in 15 degree weather with the snow blowers on full blast. He was toasty and warm as could be. I was freezing. Looking for adult sizes now!4

Bought this on the basis that all online marketing materials state the wool fibres are 18.5 micrometers. Received the top with accompanying tag stating the possibility of presence of19.5 micrometers fibres. It did feel a little prickly to the skin, unlike my first purchase a few weeks prior. Hopefully the initial wash will set it right. Can’t send it back now, need it soon for upcoming trip. S
