Won't charge
I bought this item strictly to use as a step counter, and it has been very accurate for that purpose. However, I've had it for about a week and now I cannot get it to accept a charge. I have moved the charger all around the contacts and held them in place, to no avail. Also, the smart phone app leaves a bit to be desired. I had to reboot the connection every day for the phone app to show me the results of the prior day's steps. Today I tried to delete and reload the app, and now the app only stays open for a second, and then closes automatically. I guess it doesn't matter since the unit is no longer charged anyway. It's too bad, because when it worked for those few days I really was enjoying it. The 'get up and move' reminder and the alarm both functioned well (again, when charged).

Why pay more? This does what I want
When I first opened the bracelet, I followed the instructions to turn it on. Unfortunately, the battery was dead. I then followed the instructions to charge it. Upon placing it the charger, the device vibrated and displayed the time and battery life. I charged it for about 20 minutes and the battery was up to 75%.Starting with that 75% charge, I was able to use the bracelet for about 50 hours straight before needing a charge again. The charger has little prongs and it's a little difficult to line up the prongs with the bracelet. The charger looks really delicate. I'm going to keep it in a safe place so it's not accidentally damaged. It looks very unique to this device. I wish I could purchase another charger to have at work or even as a backup.I installed the app. It is called "DayDay band." The reviews for the android app are mixed. I didn't have any issues with the app, however. I followed the prompts to enter my information. I was able to connect to the bracelet via Bluetooth. The app has multiple settings to customize the bracelet. I like the notifications options. My bracelet will actually vibrate and display the incoming phone number or text number. If that number is in my phonebook, it will display the person's name.I can also set it to vibrate every x hours to remind me to get up and walk around. This setting is called the posture remind. There are also other nice features such as alarm clock and password protection. And of course, it tracks your steps! I think it's pretty accurate. I tried tricking it by waving my arms around, but it wasn't fooled. The first thing I noticed when wearing the bracelet is that it is very comfortable. The rubber-like band is quite soft. The clasp is a little questionable. I'm not sure whether it will hold or if it will come apart. I googled this issue and it seems this is even a common issue for the actual fitbit brand bracelets too. People are using o-rings found at home improvement stores to secure the band. I'm going to try this.I can't seem to figure it how to set the time to a 12 hour clock. It shows a 24 hour clock.Overall, this is a really great value. To me, it looks just like a real fitbit. The other day someone saw my bracelet and asked me how I like my fitbit. I said "it's great!". There are other fitbit imitators that look cheap, but this absolutely looks like the same high quality. It also has the same features of a fitbit for a fraction of the price. From what I can tell, this is very similar in shape and style to the "fitbit charge". I tried an accessory meant for a fitbit charge and it worked just fine for this bracelet. It's a decorative cover. Search Amazon for seller greatfine: Silicone cover cases for Fitbit Charge/Fitbit HR Charge.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Works great for being off-brand!
This LRB Smart Bracelet watch works pretty well for being an off-brand of the Fit Bit. To be honest, a lot of people thinks I am wearing a Fit Bit and often asks me if I like it. What I do like about it is that it has call reminder, sleep monitoring, calories burned (through the steps taken), step counter, anti lost alarm, a reminder to drink water, or it will also let you know if you need to get moving instead of being still. You do need to download the app for this watch, however, it is not a complicated app to use. I do enjoy being able to sync up information to see how many steps I have taken in a day, among other things. This bracelet is comfortable to wear, and I have worn it in the shower, swimming and while doing the dishes so its pretty waterproof. The only thing I sometime have a problem with is getting the prongs to line up correctly to be able to charge it, and sometimes it comes off my wrist due to not being attached enough. Other than that, I have no issues with this Smart Bracelet!. I did receive this item in exchange for my fair and honest opinion.
