This is the modern solution to flapper discs. Give these a feather touch and you can make primer-ready surfaces in a few passes. Knock down welds, round corners, smooth surfaces.These discs last an incredibly long time, so much so that we fabricated a pair of 10' long shop benches, plus a vice stand and a pair of buffing wheel stands and are still on the first disc. These will blow your mind and are a HUGE cost saver if you're doing any sort of metal fab regularly.

By far the best sanding discs on the market. They last so much longer than any other pad. I've used the Cubitrons for years and now have the Cubitron II's which seem to cut a little bit faster and last a little bit longer. A pack of 25 pads lasted about 2 years in a Fabrication shop with 4 guys. You might be saying "Well you guys probably didn't use them much" We actually used them every single day. Sanding down welds to flush up joints was the main use. They cut so dam fast its unbelievable. Much like a grinding wheel but with the smoother more predictable and controllable sanding marks. I've always used the 36 grit and over the life of the pad it turns into more like a 50 grit.

they dont last like before. sad because the price is even higher right now then before.
