FAR better than the goggles that came with my laser, AND the fit over my glasses!
I got these because my "included goggles" with my blue lasers were cheap and not super effective. Not only that, they didn't fit over my glasses. These tic all the boxes.1: They are FAR more effective at blocking the light from my blue lasers than the included goggles.2: The optical clarity FAR exceeds the included goggles. I would call the optical clarity of these nearly perfect.3: They fit over my glasses. Hurrah! Note, you have to be careful taking them off. They encompass your eyes so well to block scattered and reflected light, that they have a tendency to catch my glasses when I remove them and pull my glasses off with them. It's minor compared to the protection they offer.4: They're comfortable. Like a nice pair of ski goggles.5: They're actually made well. As in, decent quality. And you get a nice case with them! So, yeah, you can trust your eyes to a $10 pair of laser goggles with poor optics and limited usability. Go right ahead. If you look at $60 as a steep cost to protect your eyes? There are certainly places that will teach you to read Braile and help you get a seeing eye dog. Those services ARE available, so if you want to ruin your eyes to save $60, be my guest. I think the $60 I spent on these are MORE than worth it. I'm frankly super impressed with these, and would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Works with glasses
I'm using a 10W diode laser, these fit over my glasses and seem to be good protection (they alleviate my concerns with scattered reflections), and I can still see and read computer screens while using them (although less well). They do tend to pull off my glasses when I remove them, but they're pretty comfortable to keep on for at least half hour sessions.

IR leak danger
Laser Safety Goggles: Important Wavelength Compatibility InformationWhen purchasing laser safety goggles, it's essential to ensure they are compatible with the specific wavelengths and types of lasers you'll be using. The seller provides specs indicating these goggles are safe for most blue laser pointers, and some green laser pointers (as of the technologies known May 2024)Green Lasers:Safe:- Direct diode InGaN or GaN semiconductor lasers (up to 550 nm)These lasers directly emit green light without using IR pump sources, making them safe to use with these goggles. Not Safe:- DPSS (Diode-Pumped Solid-State) lasers- Frequency-doubled Nd:YAG, Nd:YVO4 lasers- Any other laser that uses an IR pump sourceThese lasers have the potential for IR leakage, which these goggles do not provide protection against.Blue Lasers:Safe:- 380-417 nm - Gallium(III) nitride (GaN) diode lasers- 445-465 nm - Indium gallium nitride (InGaN) diode lasers- 442 nm - Helium-cadmium gas lasers- 458 and 488 nm - Argon-ion lasersThese lasers directly emit blue light without using IR pump sources, making them safe to use with these goggles. Not Safe:- ~408 nm - Frequency-doubled diode-pumped solid-state IR lasers- ~480 nm - Upconversion lasers (thulium- or praseodymium-doped)These lasers either have IR emissions or use IR pump sources, which these goggles do not provide adequate protection against. If your laser does have IR danger (such as many cheap green lasers), make sure to buy goggles that also filter-out IR (ThorLabs seems to have options for that). Many green lasers use 1064 nm or 808 nm so you want to block that.

Didn't work as well as I hoped for sleeping
Yes I bought these for sleeping as regular sleep masks just fall off; this stays on & lets me walk to the bathroom. However it didn't help with sleep. A recent study says, contrary to earlier reports, ANY light will destroy melatonin & keep you awake & that seems to be the case for me. A very expensive lesson @ $60.For actual laser protection I have to agree with the other reviews to find something else as the frame doesn't seal to the lens & lets light in especially around the nose. Some fidgeting minimizes it but can't eliminate it. If you want to use this especially with anything reasonably high power like a Blu-ray laser or even staring at blue or "white" (really blue with phosphor) LEDs you need to seal these openings.Plus side, the lens itself seems to work very well at knocking out everything below green, but even green itself is noticably reduced; unlike my "blue block" glasses, these don't appear to let ANY blue through.

Good quality; comfortable
These are comfortable goggles, large enough to fit over eyeglasses. The filtering is very good in the 405-473nm range, which is where I needed it, and the wrap-around fit protects your eyes from the sides, as well as above and below. I will note that it took almost 2 months between placing my order and the arrival of these goggles, and I noticed they shipped from Wuhan City in China, something you may want to consider when ordering.

These are a pair of good laser protection goggles.
These goggles have excellent visibility they don’t scratch easily and they wrap around your face so you don’t get any stray laser light.

Great protection at a great price!
These are excellent quality goggles. They fit over my prescription glasses well, and they are comfortable. Most importantly, the OD5 rating at 405nm and 450nm appears to be accurate. Even from an accidental specular reflection, I can see no light at 405/450nm from a 2 watt laser. The only way I can locate the beam is from the orange/yellow fluorescence in the materials it strikes. They could use better ventilation, but they're great while working in an air conditioned laboratory.Disclaimer: Always observe appropriate safety standards when working with lasers.

Surprisingly good
These fog up as laser gets brighter. Surprised by this but does not interfere with exams. Fits well over glasses.
