As advertised
So far. So good! I was not really sure about making this purchase when I saw this product. I read all the reviews and everyone seemed to be happy with their product so I decided to go for it! It arrived and I opened the package. The instructions are not real clear. A little backwards if you asked me but it was easy to figure out. I bought a beef roast for about half of the cost of ground beef. It was about a 4.5 pound roast. I cut it into cubes and did not remove the fat. It only took about 5 minutes to grind the entire roast. I made tacos with the ground meat and it was delicious. I cannot wait to grind something else!! I am only hoping that I will get my monies worth out of it. It is a great product for the price !!! Highly recommend!! And , coming from me, that is a lot. :)

Altogether, a satisfactory product
I thought that the name of this item pretty much covers what I use it for: "Meat Grinder Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixers". The body of my previous official KitchenAid meat was made of plastic, and cracked after some years of occasional use. This all - metal one (except the plastic plunger) seems considerably more heavy-duty. It also comes with sausage stuffer tubes which I will probably never use, and it also comes with a selection of blades that seem to be designed to enable you to cut chunks instead of a paste. I haven't tried any of them yet, so, we'll see. Altogether, a satisfactory product that will probably outlive me.

This little grinder is perfect.
Love the value, design, and for processing deer it's a great addition to our kitchenaid. I love how high it sits so that I can shove a large bowl underneath. I typically run all of the front leg meat through a grinder and this is by far the best one for the price. I get ~6 deer each year and this works fast and easy. Clean up is a breeze. Like all grinders, don't wrench down the retainer ring or you'll stress the motor and destroy your blades

Split decision honestly
As a meat grinder id give it a 5, as a sausage stuffer id give it a 1, ill be buying a different brand kitchen aid dropped the ball on it. As far as buying a used product from this company id give them a 5, it came clean and like brand new condition, on time.

Works well
I wasn't sure what to expect with this grinder as it was the cheaper option, but it worked well to grind frozen meat. The instructions weren't very clear about which blade or attachment to use when, so it required some extra research to better understand which ones to use when. The big take-away...freeze your meat before grinding! I also didn't have it seated completely in the KitchenAid attachment so it would move around, but then I finally got it further in and all worked well (user error). I recommend this attachment.

Does that stuff
The grinder works just okay. Just remember low and slow. The meat needs to be almost frozen as well. Then it will work. I could not find the right consistency whether warm or mostly frozen in order to get the stuffer to work. You are going to have to buy a separate machine to stuff sausages. This is not an all-in-one product. I wanted to love it. But, now I'm shopping for a sausage stuffer.

Gets the job done
If you are grinding everyday you would want heavier duty. This is good for occasional grinding. Very light weight. Of course not cast iron
