These work as intended and were exactly what I wanted for my setup.I wanted less distortion at high volume and plus most of the bass was being sent to the subwoofer. I put them on the 6.5s in my doors on my 2000 single cab Chevrolet Silverado. Easy to install after watching some YouTube videos.

These BB199's performed just as I hoped. I didn't want to drive the smaller mid-bass speakers to ruin so these went inline to curb the sub freq. Hz that were going to thrash these smaller gems. Helped to enhance inexpensive heavy duty drivers to perform like I'd imagined.Satisfied.Jeff W.

Get an amp with variable crossovers and a subsonic filter.

These work pretty good. My BMW Harmon Kardon system runs 2 ohms to each speaker, so it was tough to figure out which ones I needed since these have charts for 4 ohm and 8 ohm configurations.

Hey, the hese do their job, fair enough. If they fail they're so cheap no problem-solving but I highly dout that will happen.

easy to install inline with door speakers

Couldn’t get these to do anything. No matter how I hooked them up, my speakers were flooded with bass.
