Train Time LaserN Scale Laser Cut Covered Bridge Kit

As good as most, but could be better
I bought two of these just in case I needed to improve on the building process. Everything on my layout is from kits, so I do have the patience, tools experience. That being said, the instructions called for assembling the kit and then painting or staining. I never do that. Everything is detailed before assembly. To each his own. I decided to use a matte acrylic wash to finish. Be advised, these materials are very prone to swelling and warping with any water based material - even undiluted acrylic. After I stained, I weighted all pieces down and they recovered. A solvent based wash / stain might be more appropriate. Lastly, the paper roof was a real letdown. It should have at least been pre-scored to get a cleaner fold. I used matte black to further distress the roof and added some hunter green to resemble mold or mildew. All in all, money well spent if you have the patience.

Okay this is a very wonderful addition to my train layout
Okay I have to try and write this review very carefully. Okay this is a very wonderful addition to my train layout, it is very beautiful a word I don't tend to use a lot. Now this is not a item a newbie or someone just buying stuff might want. It is well made but very fragile and requires a certain amount of respect from the modeler in building it.
