After reading several reviews suggesting to order a larger size due to the vest fitting a bit small, I ordered an XL, since I kinda range between an XL and L. Unfortunately, it was a tad large. So I returned it and reordered a large, and found that large was perfect for my build, sadly I was shipped the grey stripped rather than the charcoal. I then returned it and reordered once again, and strangly received the same grey stripped vest I was previously sent.Rather than trying again, I decided to contact Amazon and explain my situation. They made a note of it and suggested I try one more time, and I was happy to discover that the correct color was finally sent.It was a bit of a hassle getting the right item, though given Amazon’s easy return method, it wasn’t so bothersome attempting multiple times to get the right item, as I was throughly pleased when it was finally corrected.

I went with this particular vest because I couldn't see spending the extra money on the Filson Mackinaw. Let me tell you that I am EXTREMELY happy that I went with this vest. Great quality, great fit, great style. It fits very nicely over both my thin and thick flannel shirts and keeps me very warm. I might have to buy the other color that is available!Honestly, I don't see how much better the Filson can be compared to this vest and this is half the price. Buy it!

I just received this vest, so I can't speak to long term durability, but it feels very well made.I'm 5'10, wear a 44 regular, and have a bit of a gut and this fits like a dream. Falls just below the beltline, which is ideal for concealing a pistol carried IWB.The pockets are surprisingly deep. I can fit my Galaxy S7 Active in the chest pockets fully, with an inch or so to spare. The hip pockets fit my hands to the wrists (if I make a fist). There are pockets in the lining too, one on each side, about the same size as the chest pockets.It's pretty thick and warm, which works for me in the Michigan spring and fall, but it's probably going to be too much for anything over 65F. It's not so thick that you can't fit a coat or jacket over it, just so long as it's not too tight. If you can wear a sweatshirt under it, this will fit.If you're looking for something to class up your cool weather flannels, or to conceal your firearm without the added bulk of a jacket, this is well worth the money.

When it arrived, I was a bit worried that it would be too warm, except on the coldest of days, especially since it is all wool (on the exterior). I should not have worried. I'm hot-natured; yet, I can wear this vest even when the temperature is in the low 60s (F). It is a great fit, and I get lots of compliments on it. Since it is gray, it can be worn over just about any color shirt (solid colors or patterns). It has ample pockets, both inside and outside. It has a finished look, without being too dashing. I wear it to church and when I'm walking in the nearby National Forest. Just about perfect, I'd say.

This is a gorgeous vest, very dressy looking. I've already received several compliments on it. It's also quite comfortable and a good length for concealed-carry. My only complaint is that I wish it were pure wool, or that the wool was blended with something other than polyester, which sometimes makes me sweat. Still, I am very happy with this and hope to be wearing and enjoying it for many years to come.

Sizes are all over the map! I ordered a 2 XL based on the size chart. Way big! Sent it back, and re-ordered an XL, exactly the same as the 2XL! One more try with an L--bet it will be too small, but we'll see. Otherwise, price is great, quality is outstanding, I like the depth of the pockets, and that it does not have a satin back; i.e., same wool material. And, I like the elastic built-in strap on the back as opposed to a belt/buckle arrangement.

I bought a large. Wasn't very quick to arrive, they may have been backordered. I don't hold it against them, I just mention it so you don't expect 2 day shipment. It was too small. I had to return it. They were very nice about replacing it with an XL.I LOVE THIS VEST! Warm, warm, comfortable, nice pockets. Goes with anything I wear at work. We are just short of coat and tie there.VERY WELL MADE. Not much I would say that about today.I am trying to buy more, in different colors and styles from them.BUY IT! You'll be glad you did!

Pocket was not sewn shut inside. Wyoming traders offered to repair it but honestly it would cost more to send it back than take it to the local tailor and have it repaired. I wish they would bring the dark green vest back. Great quality and I wear these everyday in North Dakota during the winters.

I am extremely happy with the vest keeps me warm, i wear it everywhere so much so i had to get my father one, he saw me wearing it , he said i want one so i bought him one , he loved it. Very good quality and craftmanship.

I love this vest. It's great quality. Especially for the price. I have a wool vest like this from another manufacturer and it's a lot more expensive, but I don't think it's any better quality. I have other products from wyoming traders and they are all great. I bought all of them from this seller same seller, IM PRIME, and the customer service has been excellent. They answered any questions in a prompt manner.

A bit boxy for me, I will have it tailored a bit at the waist. Otherwise it is great.
