I purchased the 25" x 42" bag. It truly is 42" long. I was concerned if the airlines would give me any problems with its size for international or national travel. We flew on Delta, but they did not even look twice at my bag which was 42" long. I did not have the bag stuffed full, but I had an item in the duffel that was 40" long, so that is why I needed this longer duffle. The bag came with a shoulder strap, which some commentaries said that theirs did not. Mine DID. The bag has a high quality zipper. The bag held up well on international travel. Yes, it arrived in South America with a small hole in the side or heavy abrasion on the material, but the bag held up despite the airlines doing their magic there. Great price and great quality.

all good, just wondering why is so hard to find if made in USA or China or?? thanks!! on a well made itim like this I would gladly pay extra if it was MADE IN USA.. but as it is unknown country of orgin the QC quality control is very good

I ordered the medium which is listed as 25” x 42”. Since it’s shaped like a sausage with two round panels on the ends I thought it would be 25” diameter circle panels and 42” measured between each circle. Well the 42” dimension is almost spot on, it’s even bigger if you are counting the bulge when fully packed. The 25” dimension baffles me, as the circle panels are 14” in diameter and that is almost exactly my measured height. Measurements aside though the bag seems well made out of a sturdy canvas. I was especially pleased to find that every attachment point for handles and strap points are reinforced with extra material on the inside. No shoulder strap which is a bummer but I can whip something up. This will be a gift and will hold a fairly heavy (40+ pounds) inflatable kayak that cane with a horrible bag. I will check in with the giftee to see if it holds up and update the review. So far it’s a five star product if it wasn’t for the confusing sizes.

Good value for the money. I need it mainly to store a large double sleeping bag that I use a few times a year, so it stays in the closet most of the time. It will certainly last a lifetime in this capacity. If I were to use it to carry things in while hitchhiking along the road, it might not last as long. But it is a good looking duffel and is well made.
