DarcoPneumatic Night Splint, Medium

I seldom review. This boot, however, has saved me twice now. IN 2018 my doctor gave me one for excruciating plantar fasciitis and it worked miracles in just a few days after weeks of pain and even worse, not able to run which is my salvation. I got PF 18 days ago, again. I was wearing the 2018 boot but I ruined it bc I walked on it w/out deflating it and that made it mostly ineffective. It took me a few days to figure that out. Ordered another one and have worn it two nights so far. Today, I can walk normal and I will probably be running tomorrow. This product is amazing and affordable and even not so bad to wear at night. Just don't walk on it w/out deflating. Thank You Darco!!

seems to work well for my wife. We received one from the Doctor, then I found this one on Amazon. It was considerably cheaper than what the Doctor's office charged us, but was the exact same thing. The only mistake for us, though, we thought that she would wear one on each foot every night. What we found was that wearing them on both feet was too bothersome throughout the night. I would recommend wearing on 1 foot, then rotating to the other foot the next night. This makes sleep more manageable.

While the premise is a good one, the air chamber deflates on its own at night. I've returned mine for another one, thinking it was faulty, but the second one does the same thing. I've adjusted how I put it on at night, thinking it was user error, but following the directions to the T still results in it deflating. Pity. It could solve my problem, if it only worked.

This is the product I have been looking for. Had one for 5 years and loved it. Velco became loose but wanted a new one. Ordered a new one from another company and was not happy with. I finally found the Darco brand at Chicago Medical Supply. I am extremely happy I found my original brand. I had surgery for my plantar faciitis and it was not successful so I am back with my splint and greatful I found the one I need.

I definitely have less pain when I first get out of bed in the morning after wearing this splint all night. It was worth the price. My only complaint is that it seems to have stretched since I got it. I now run out of Velco when I pull it as snug as I think it should be, especially at the top closure.. It makes me wonder if I should have ordered a smaller size. I wear a women's size 8 dress shoe and ordered the suggested size - Medium. To get a snug fit, I now have to put a wash cloth folded in half down the back side of the splint before putting my foot in it.

Keeps my foot straightened at night and an excellent price compared to what I paid for my first one at my doctor's office ($150)

Used Darko Splint for 45 days (just long enough for the warranty to run out) and the bladder started leaking and will no longer hold air which makes the product useless. Very disappointed
