Worked, but only because I...
I was upset when I received this today and tried to remove 3 stripped, galvanized screws. It absolutely did NOTHING to pull them out, except make a big hole. I couldn't figure it out. Then, I decided to try something: I had tried both the smallest size and the next one up, to no avail. With the hole created from the second smallest size, I then used the opposite end of the next size UP to back it out. You're supposed to just flip the same bit over and use the same bit to bore/remove, but in my case, I had to bore with one size and back out with the next largest. Lo and behold, it worked. Just a tip if a particular screw is giving you trouble.

These work like a charm, when you take your time. Don't have the drill spinning like a jet and get angry when the screw won't budge. Ask me how I know...

BEST DIY Tool you NEED!!!
This is the second set of Damaged Screw Extractor and Remove Set I have bought. Why two sets? Someone loved my Set as much as I did and never returned them to me! I do not care if you are a Pro or Beginner DIYER, at some point you WILL strip a screw!!! I have used my Set on multiple occasions, you will as well. Screw exstractor
Received as stated. The product works like a charm in removing stripped deck screws.

Drills out metal shavings but not the striped screw.
I’ve tried multiple striped screws and nothing. The drill out bit seems to be eating the screw but once flipped the extractor spins and does absolutely nothing. Even with forced pressure nothing. Looking at the threads on the extractor and I now know why it doesn’t work. There’s barely any thread to catch the striped screw. I am using a Milwaukee M18 Driver. Already set up for a return.Edit: GOOD NEWS! I removed the screws... with a Dremel and Dewalts newer line of Flex Torque drill bits. I used the Dremel for the stubborn screws that were furthest apart from the stud and drywall and the others screws were easily removed with Dewalts Flex Torque bits.
