Reincarnation Cards: Awakening Far Memory

Awakening Far Memory, with a subtitle of Reincarnation Cards is a set of 61 color cards drawn in simple, but appealing style. The cards are approximately 4x6-large photograph size. There are 5 different sets of cards, designated by color and symbol on the back.The different categories of cards represent: (white/square) occupation, (indigo/circle) culture, (green/diamond) environment, (red/cross) theme (life purpose), and (purple/infinity) termination (how you died). They are medium quality stock and have a matt finish.The book that accompanies this deck is hard backed and covered with indigo fabric. It is 204 pages in length. This book has an introduction and begins with evidence to support the theory of reincarnation, including reference. This information is followed by sections describing the benefits of researching past lives, historical evidence of human origins, along with a "How To" section and a page for each card and its meaning. There is an Afterward, Glossary, Selected bibliography (reincarnation and general), Resource List for Further Research and a page about each author. Each card is printed in black and white with a good description of what the drawings represent. The card pages are categorized to match the 5 types of cards--each section including an introduction.The entire deck and cards come in a good quality cardboard box printed in color with some of the cards and the book shown on the front. The caption says: "Discover yourself! Remember what you were and who are! Remember past and future incarnations! Wake up from the dream of life!" It also includes a blurb that says: "Something genuinely new under the sun! A fascinating and potentially valuable tool for developing self-knowledge and for confronting life problems and patterns that otherwise resist resolution."This deck was developed by John M. Knowles and Linda Leblanc. Among their many accomplishments, the authors have been affiliated with the Monroe Institute as Outreach Trainers, Workshop Leaders and Lecturers. Their work with the Monroe Institute has given them a deep understand of the principle of reincarnation. They developed these cards to help other deepen their understanding too.I have been using these cards since their publication and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. In the past I've relied strictly on third eye movies to conduct past life readings, but I have found these cards to be very helpful and they add another dimension to the readings.Although these are large sized cards, there is no need to worry about shuffling. The authors suggest using a pendulum to choose cards from each category, but I have successfully used them by having clients hold out a hand and sense the pull of energy from a particular card...this does, however, tend to leave them over-thinking and taking a very long time to choose (This usually means it won't be as accurate a reading in my opinion). After a card is drawn from each category, they are used to develop the story of a past life.I have used these cards to conduct group readings sessions with great fun. As each person takes a turn, everyone intuitively brain storms about the cards until a past life is "fleshed-out". I have even used them as group healing sessions. Once the life information has been established, healing sessions were conducted on the issues that have been brought forward into the current life. I have also found the cards to be equally effective when used alone.If you are interested in Past Life Work with other people, or just want to journal and work on your own "stuff" I think you will find Awakening Far Memory to be a accurate and flexible tool.

Was looking a another past life deck, but it wasn't available and this one caught my eye. Wasn't too sure if I would like it, but wow, first time I used them, they hit completely on a past life I already knew about. The main thing I dislike about them is that there are not enough cards for all the categories to make the reading broader, especially if you have no idea about the past life coming up in the reading. Overall would recommend this deck if you want to explore past lives.

I wasn't sure if I would get much use out of this deck and have worked with it for a period of time before leaving a review. This deck has given so much to my past life readings. It can read alone and it reads very well with other decks. I use this as my foundation and baseline to the reading. However as stated you can use it alone and dive deep within each card. The book is good for a beginner reader. I didn't find new insight into the cards as a hole, however I have been reading for a number of years and go with the flux and flow of my intuition. The cards have a nice feel and delicate pastels with vibrant pops throughout. I am so very pleased with this purchase.

IT WAS JUST MY FIRST SIGHT.WHEN I READ THE BOOK I WAS AMAZING, ITS THE PERFECT.- THE AGES ARE NOT THE OFICIALLY BUT THE RIGHT, SO I DONT NEED TO DO A HARD INVESTIGATION.- THE WORKS ARE GENERIC, I ONLY MISS A SCIENTIST ALTHOUGH THE SPYRIT IS THERE- THE CARDS ARE TOO SYMBOLIC AND SIMPLE, THATS PERFECT TO ACTIVATE YOUR MIND AND SOUL TO RESONATE WITH THESE LIVES.THE PICTURES INTRODUCE YOU TO AN ONIRIC WORLD.- THE ENVIROMENT: THE SAME.I REALLY LOVE THEM AND I WANT TO CONGRATULATION THE AUTHORS.

Beautiful images but, I wish the cards were more tarot or oracle size! The cards appear to be more design for people with bigger hands rather than being more diverse in regards to one size fits all or just making cards for all hand sizes!

The media could not be loaded.  This deck is sturdy and well made. They are bigger then most decks.The deck is not used like most oracle or divining decks. there are five suits and you pull from each which is a bit wonky to get used to.The accompanying book is sturdy, hard cover and normal size text. It has a ton of information in it about reincarnation and the card meanings are easy to find.

I love these cards. The book was clearly written and well researched. They describe different time periods, different circumstances of your life, primary concern in that life, town, and method of death. The cards are color coded by purple, blue, red, green and white. I have found it to be useful to get past life information for myself and clients.Although the author suggests using a pendulum to pick cards, I find the Law of attraction works with you drawing a card with a question firmly in your mind. A nice, easy to use tool that is not flashy or overpriced. In the genre of card decks, which is becoming big business, this is refreshing.

This is the best past life deck I have found. It covers a wide spectrum which is great. It still is missing a lot and has it's flaws. I hope the growing interest in this subject will bring us better decks. For now, this is the one I recommend.

I find out about my personality good and bad side. Good and bad side of me I collected over the past reincarnations. I use at first 3 cards only. Cards explained my obstacles and blockages at present, what or who can help. Also, cards show possible future solution and advice from past lives. Didnt go over 5 cards as it could be confusing. Additionally I use 10 cards of another deck called Past Lifes Oracle.Together, I found out who I really am now, why I behave the way I am. Cards are good. You can find out the skills, wisdom and knowledge you already have. Could be good guide for searching for study, job,business, happy place, joy, love and healing. They show, as well negative side like phobias, fear, anger or abuse. Wherever, person was abuser or victim like imprisonment or slavery or strong authority, power. This really would help people to address this matter and get some help like therapy. It show a lot negativity people could carry from past life and why it effects them now. They therapeutic. Cards explain a lot. Helpful.

I dont like the fact, that the description of each card does not relate in any way to specific emotional or behaviouralIssues, that a life in a certain circunstance in the past could have had on the present life. There is a Deck though, from Doreen Virtue and only available in Spanish, that does such interrelations. Thats why I like that one much more! Also the images are not appealing and the alien card really scared me off

Utterly unusable as a divination deck, apart from really ugly, superficial, and extremely limited. The imagery is so bad its a joke. It reminds me of the kind of pictures you would find in a primary school textbook. The book that comes with the deck has a somewhat interesting introduction and explanation supporting the plausibility of past lives and reincarnation, which then only turns into a huge disappointment when you finally get to the part where it explains the meaning of the cards, i.e. nothing much whatsoever, and how to use them, again, a joke. This is the worst deck of cards for divination I've come across ever, and I've got quite a few. No way I'll ever be using this with myself, much less with anyone I do a reading for.

I'm not going to comment here on the concept, the design of the cards or the book; I haven't used them enough to experience any meaningful results. I'm only going to review the quality of the cards, which is terrible.I'm very used to handling all types of cards - playing, Tarot and others - and these are just about the worst I've come across. The instructions tell you to fan the cards and select one from each category, but this is practically impossible because they stick together. Shuffling is completely out of the question. The only way I've found to pick a random card is to spread out all the cards from one category on a table - and because the cards are unnecessarily large you need a lot of table space just for one category. Even then it takes quite a while because the cards stick together.As I don't have a large table available when I see clients I won't be able to use these cards for their intended purpose.By the way, as I'm slightly colour blind, I also find it hard to distinguish between the blue and purple backed cards without looking at the central icon.
