I couldn't view it in the Soth East USA!
It's a dark movie, and I purchased it because it isn't available on any streaming service. It would have been great if I could have watched it. It is region 2, so I wasn't able to view it, as I live in the South Eastern United States.

DVD wouldn't play
DVD wouldn't play no matter what machine I put it in. Amazon delivery tracker indicated that it would be delivered almost 2 weeks after it arrived. I submitted the return information, received the shipping label and mailed it back before the delivery tracker indicated that it would arrive. Then, the tracker indicated that it will be 'arriving by January 21'... IF it arrives, I hope it works.

Digital JUNK.
DVD is not playable on devices in the U.S. This important information was not included in sale listing. The fact that it will not play on U.S. machines containing built-in copyright protection technology, this makes me wonder if the DVD is bootlegged. Rather than returning, I destroyed it so that won't be sold to another unsuspecting person.

Oh man! Awesome!!!
The Wall is my favorite album so of course I had to see the movie. Let me say it was absolutely awesome and very emotional. I'm not one to cry during most movies but this one was very moving. I'd recommend this for anyone who loves Pink Floyd.

Is there anybody out there...?
All in all it’s just another BluRay on the shelf... but a lovely one. Nice transfer and beautiful DTS sound that has nice even mix. Well made, some behind the scenes features and all in English and plays on US Region players. A must have film in BluRay for any Head or Pink Floyd fan!!

Excellently done.
This is a fabulous DVD. Everyone knows how great The Wall is but the big news here is the DVD transfer: It's an excellent master beautifully edited, and all of the bonus content is interesting and worth watching. Navigation around this DVD's menus is the easiest I've seen on any DVD, able to work easily with any kind of player and responsive, as well as beautifully designed... I was surfing around to the various menu screens just for fun! Then there's the movie itself, whose picture is crystal clear and sharp. There are three audio options depending on your stereo setup, Dolby 5.1, Dolby Surround, or normal two-channel. This makes the sound optimum and the sucker really KICKS. Add in the missing "Hey You" as a standalone video and you've got a fabulous release of this classic film.

Doug Walker was wrong
Ignore what Doug Walker said about this film; The Wall is a visual masterpiece that captures depression and anxiety through poetic imagery and brilliant music, all topped off by a spectacular performance from Bob Geldof and incomparable animation by Gerald Scarfe. Is it for everyone? No. But if you enjoy films with a great imagination and music from one of the all time greatest rock bands, this is the film for you.

Stands the test of time!
Good 5.1 sound, letterbox Cinemascope format - but sadly not available as a BluRay disk.Obviously, anyone buying this DVD will have seen the movie and will know the whole thing by heart - such is the nature of PF fans! A PF audience was always word-perfect as if they had been rehearsed professionally for at least a week!If you do not know this movie, well, where have you been all this time! After many years of not watching this movie, I was afraid that the 80s production values would mean that it would not stand up against modern films - I need not have worried! Parker did a great job of turning a stunning concept album into a stunning concept film, despite having an extremely limited budget.

Betamax replacement!!!
I recorded "The Wall" late one night on Channel Four, all commercial breaks included too. It was on a very old betamax toploader, where the cassette has sat on the shelf gathering dust for decades since. I looked at getting a DVD of this from His Masters youknowwhere, but the robbin dogs wanted in excess of thirty quid!Imagine the living room dances I did when a friend sent the link to this DVD at this price too! Brucey Bonus all round!Should be English Lit study material....

What a film !
The film is part 3 in Roger Water`s "The Wall" concept.Album/Live/Film.There is no humour in the fiolm but it is well made to combine real action with superb animation from long time friend of Roger,Gerald Scarfe.A brilliant concept that does work very well on film. It`s a shame the whole wall project did so much irreparable damage to The members of Pink Floyd` relations.Roger`s ideas turning into obsessions.Bob Geldof plays the part of Pink well even though he openly admits he dislikes Pink Floyd. There is plenty of bonus material to accompany the film which is well worth watching. The film is expertly directed by Alan Parker and keeps your attention to the end.The only drawback is this is 1982 and lacks the technology that is available today.Otherwise a decent film worth viewing especially now transferred onto Blue Ray disc.
