Needed new kitchen knifes and end up buying a specialty set. Found this knife block to work as housing for the new knives. Great product, arrived as advertised and fit all the new kitchen knives. It’s solid wood, with a sturdy plastic outer casing to protect the knives while displaying them nicely. I was skeptical of the magnet strength but it’s sturdy and keeps the knives secure very well. It’s a nice bonus that it’s double sided and includes a little nook to house a cutting board as well. Great value for the cost.

Love how beautifully and safely this knife block displays my kitchen knives. I also like the little cutting board holder in the back. I fit two bar boards back there. Saves space. Works great. Looks great. Recommend.

This knife holder is so wonderful. It is heavy duty. The acrylic is beautiful. The wood is absolutely lovely. It holds a cutting board and this is very sturdy.

The knife holder works fairly well holding 6 to 9 knives. It can also accommodate a large Chinese style cleaver.The wood is well tooled and attractive. I would give it 5 stars but the plastic cover on two units was cracked.The wood on that unit was damaged on the corner as well. I returned one for a replacement, but the second unit also had a cracked cover. It was minor so I just kept it.

Wood is very nice. The magnet to hold the knives works well. The magnet field is on the top half of the board. The shield is strong too. It makes a nice display in the kitchen and frees up kitchen counter space. Note: if your kitchen cabinets are close to the kitchen countertop, you may want to consider that. When pulling out the larger knives, you'll need to angle it to get the knife out. Most often that's no big deal.

I live it! No complaints. It looks good. It's sturdy. Easy to get knives in and out. Fits four large knives on each side and has a slit to hold cutting board.

I saw a few reviews with pics saying that they got theirs with a crack in the plexiglass, so I was understandably a little concerned about how mine would show up. When I got it Monday, I wasted no time opening and inspecting. Considering how snug the fit was in the box, I could see how the cracks could form if you weren't careful pulling it out (NOT saying that other folks weren't careful). If I had simply gripped the item, it could've easily cracked or shattered. All that said, mine did not come out of the box with any kind of blemish or deformity. It looks good! And this bad boy holds my blades that don't otherwise have a home in my kitchen, and it gives me that peace of mind knowing that the magnet with the plexiglass covering will keep my kids from hurting themselves on the blades themselves.Seriously, I have a carving fork that is hovering because of the magnets. It doesn't fit in the plexiglass, but the magnets are still holding it in place. This piece definitely lives up to the expectations I had for it!
