Prevents the Skin from Heating Up
I cannot say for sure how effective HUSH was for my chest tattoo. According to my tattoo artist, the HUSH spray I brought has a 4% lidocaine concentrate compared to the 2 or 3% lidocaine concentrate he buys for normal use on customers. After he was done stenciling my chest, he sprayed the HUSH on. He had a cigarette and 15 minutes later we were working on the chestpiece again. My skin never broke and I had very minimal bleeding, nonetheless the pain did not really seem to be lessened by HUSH. My friend said some skin can heat up while getting tattooed. My skin did not heat up, but the three hour tattoo had the same amount of pain. Conclusively, HUSH prevents the skin from heating up, but I did not really notice a difference in pain and numbness.

This stuff works amazing when used right
This stuff works amazing when used right! It does not remove tattoo pain, which can not be done by anything. But it is great at dulling the pain during breaks. The worst part of tattoos to me is starting up again after you take a 15 minute break. Once the skin has settled down and has started the healing process, then you start tattooing again. If you apply this product right when you stop before a break the it takes that edge off. Also, works great to spray on once your finished with the session and before they wrap it up. Hush is the best anesthetic for tattoos, hands down.

The bactine I usually use worked better even though the lidocaine content is less
I got this to numb during the session once the skin has already been worked on, and to be honest I was expecting more from this spray. I used the gel to prepare for the session, and THAT has worked well...but the spray not too much. The bactine I usually use worked better even though the lidocaine content is less.My tattoo artist did comment that the foam soap is really good though. I will have to try that next time.

Give it a try!
Started using thus on my clients a couple months ago and it's gotten great reactions! I am a professional tattoo artist by Denver and this has become a staple to my process. Helps those who need a bit of pain relief during a long session and even helps those that don't as it seems to bring down the swelling and redness, letting me work longer. Great stuff! Give it a try!

This works well
This is not going to make your tattoo completely painless, but it does numb the area somewhat. Make sure you put it on an hour prior to the tattoo and cover the area with plastic wrap to get the full effect. For me, it lasted about two hours before it wore off. In my opinion, worth the money and effort.

I use this pre wax and bought a few to give to clients to see how well it works when waxing and it doesn't. Which leads me to believe it wont work when tattooing since waxing isn't as harsh as a tattoo

Hush works!
We didn't put the Hush on until she completed the outline. Once that was done the tattoo artist put the Hush on. We took a break and started up again. No pain. Seriously no pain! After another break she added more. This was the easiest tattooing I've had done. This was my 8th tattoo. The most complex and detailed.Only thing to be aware of is it doesn't spray in a mist. More of a squirt.Healing is normal. It's been 1week and 3 days. All is great!

Feels worse than the original outline
Does not work. I used it right after getting my 1st pass of the outline. It did not work at all. Feels worse than the original outline. The cream works better
