Can anybody tell me the real difference between this Astoria 6000 and the the other Astoria 6000? Is it just intelligent led plug lead system?

I am looking for digital multimeter for household which one the best money for value

I bought the ASTRO AI. It does everything I need and more. There are cheaper meters online if you only want the basic voltmeter and resistance checking. I believe this meter is best value for semi professional use but for general home use a cheaper meter would be adequate.

Can the auto-off feature be disabled?

I don't think so. I needed this and I couldn't find out how to do it

What is the maximum safe temperature the temperature probe can be used for? (how hot can it get before the probe itself suffers damage)
