Had dry, brittle and split ends. My sister-in-law did recommend us for me. Use it as instructed and my ends are beautiful and amazing. I ended up cutting my hair because of my split ends and then ended up using this product but months after my haircut and even years, I use the product and it works well I mean, I barely have any split ends and my ends are not dry and brittle so very good product use as instructed keep in mind. I do apply coconut oil to my hair once a week at least after I use the oil as well.

i have naturally curly thick hair, and recently i bleached and dyed half of it red and the other stayed unbleached, i then had to bleach out the red a few months later and my curls on that side could barely hold, and i saw a youtube review on this product, so i bought it. one thing that should be noted is it says for the protein treatment it should be used by a professional and under a heat dryer like at a salon. i followed instructions, wetting my hair, combing it, towel drying it, and putting the protein in. i then took my hand dryer and proceeded to dry it for about 30-45 minutes, it wouldn’t harden like it said it would on the bottle, but my hands felt like i had hair gel on them. i eventually got it as dry as i could and rinsed it out, using the moisture treatment, which had a strong, not so great smell to it. i washed that out 5 minutes later and it still wasn’t entirely soft so i did one more round and finished off with regular conditioner. my curls weren’t much more defined or revived, but they were a little less brittle and held a tiny bit better (but not that much), but my hair was very soft and not very dry, so that was a good bonus. i also put the protein on both sides of my hair instead of just the one damaged side, so that could’ve been why it didn’t look like it did much. i would recommend this product to someone who doesn’t have completely damaged hair, and who is willing to take a good hour or two to use this product properly. i think it really depends on how much damage the hair has, as well as the curl pattern, but i’d definitely give it a try if you’re willing to take the time to use it and knowing the possibility of it not magically rejuvenating your curls after the first use.

Great for general hair health and strength, especially for over-conditioned hair. I over-conditioned my hair to the point where it felt very limp and mushy. I used this product and immediately my curls popped back and felt strong. I typically use it with a handheld dryer, not a hood dryer. That’s just how my mom did it when I was younger. Through my adulthood, I’ve tried both ways and find the benefits of an hood dryer for this particular treatment are negligible. Handheld works just fine and is more convenient for me personally.
