A Great Addition
Pros;1. The large sized tip rarely eber gets stuck in cracks on the road.2. A cane can be weilded easier due to the rolling feature.3. Makes a louder sound when moving the cane Which can help others be more aware of you.4. The weight of the ball insures my cane unfolds faster and more reliably. Some things to note are1. Installing the hook version may require three hands, so have help just in case.2. Once installed, you will notice a gradual increase of hight on the cane.3 there will be a slight addition of weight on the end of the cane, nevertheless the rolling tip aids with moving the weight. The only real con I can think of is having to pull the loop over the tip when folding. That, and a dog may mistake it for a toy ball.Overall it’s a fantastic addition to my cane by No Jab Cane.

This tip is mostly recommended for use with Constant Contact technique.
The media could not be loaded. A very excellent cane tip very highly recommended for use with the constant contact technique. Easy slip-on design with a very snug fit it will not slip off of your cane. Avoids getting caught in cracks will Glide over smooth concrete pavement and even low cut grass wouldn't be a problem. Does not work very well over tall grass fields. For that you would have to use the to tap technique.

perfect for rough areas, woods or even snow
so, I happen to be blind and use a cane. Most tips have a lot of pros and cons. The only con to this one is it's size. Ironicaly, this is also it's strongest pro.I use straight canes a lot and tips wear out fairly often. Considering the sidewalks around my area, this tip is best. It bypasses all those cracks, rolls through holes and allows me to move fast without fear of finding a curb, hole or other hazzard with my feet. For totally blind users of a straight (or folding) cane, this one works (EVEN IN SNOW!).

Nice roller
I never fully liked the two tap method. Roller is my preferred method. These last well and I haven't had one fall apart yet.

Didn't fit the cane we ordered or any other canes we had. Their site had no indication as to which cane it might fit. Product was returned.

Goes fast
The ball was fantastic but burned it up on 9 weeks. I like the way it felt on the ground, very smooth and sensitive to surfaces. Needs to be tougher so it'll last longer than a couple months.

GREAT but...Wore down fast!
I ABSOLUTELY love the tip. It glides over the lines and cracks on the sidewalk without it getting jammed and jerking my arm. I was still able to receive sensory input through the cane. HOWEVER, in less than one week of walking on sidewalks and pavement, approximately 12 miles, the tip is already worn down. I already need to replace the rolling ball tip. I WILL continue to purchase the item since I do love it, but I rated the item down for the lack durability. (I am a new cane user)Updated note: with more use, the tip becomes more pointy and does catches more therefore leading to more jams and jerks.
