Only used for 5 days but happy
It is noisy but useful to know where it is. I only use in hard floors. It works it’s way through the whole of my ground floor. The dust box is obviously small so need to check it regularly to get maximum cleaning effectiveness. You don’t have to learn much to work it but instructions which are translated give more guidance.

It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less
As soon as you put aside all marketing noise and look at the products in this category, you realise that those are not magical, futuristic products. So if your expectations are that for less than 200 pounds you'll get some futuristic, inteligent robot straight out of sci-fi movies, you WILL be disappointed. Before you buy, you have to ask yourself some basic questions, set the expectations. So let's go over the points - what this (and any other vacuuming robot) IS NOT. It's not inteligent, it's not smart, it will not magically (using lasers and 3d mapping) learn the layout of your flat and clean every corner of every room. It will not replace regular cleaning, care and attention. I would not leave it unattended, go for holidays and assume that two weeks later, I'll return to a sparkling clean flat. This particular model doesn't have a very good array of sensors - it struggles to detect overhanging obstacles (it will detect a gap under a chest of drawers but will bump his 'forehead' on the overhanging edge as it's not aware of the height of the gap). It will bump into softer targets (with no rhyme or reason), it will bump into chair legs etc - clearly struggling to detect narrow obstacles - so many times it stuck on my guitar stands that it failed to detect. So is it any good? As I said - it is good for what is designed to do. I can't imagine living without it now as it takes care of the most annoying part of any cleaning - making sure there is no dust under the beds. My beds are heavy, and cleaning the floors underneath is an infuriating chore. This robot crawls underneath every morning and grabs a fistful of dust bunnies, I am shocked every day how much dust hides in every corner. I have hard floors everywhere and this robot seems to be coping quite well. but I have a single bedside rug which is as filthy as it always is - the brushes WILL NOT pick up dust bunnies, lint and whatever else stuck in the hair of the rug - proper vacuuming is required. And the last flaw - it needs (frequently) some help with returning to base. My flat is not awfully complicated and yet the robot managed to return home on it's own maybe 10% of time?

Very quirky, we're fond of him and he does a reasonable job
The media could not be loaded. Update, day four. He passed the test, picking up all strategically placed bits of paper, I don't know how, but he did... He's definitely gathering enough dust each day to make him worthwhile. He never finds his way back to his home base, I'll find him conked out somewhere in the morning, fast asleep, like a drunken teenager who fell asleep on the last train, so I have to pick him up and carry him home. But that's OK. It does prove that he's just randomly picking routes though, and the last part of his journey is a fruitless waste of energy, he may as well just conk out once he's out of charge rather than pretend. But overall I'm still very happy with him for the price, the carpets do look great every day. We're on day three with our new buddy. We've named him Edgar (not very original, I'm sure, but hey, it suits him). We're very fond of him, even though he doesn't seem very bright. Either that, or he's much cleverer than we can possibly imagine. He's quiet and unassuming. He trundles around the house, doing the same spots over and over. He bumps into things, then turns around and heads off in the opposite direction. He seems to be devoid of any logic whatsoever. And then he'll amaze us by diligently maneuvering between a series of chair legs like a pro. But then, five minutes later, we'll find him do the same thing again, rather than doing the hallway which I've been wanting him to do for hours. Maybe he enjoys the chair legs, maybe he's practising, dunno, but the hallway isn't going to hoover itself! Last night I had to rescue him at 530am cos he'd got himself stuck between the coffee table and the harth and was beeping at us to help him out - we won't be asking him to clean overnight again. I've laid down some strategic pieces of paper in parts of different rooms to see how long it'll take him to find them. Nothing yet and we're on day 3. I do wonder if he just goes back to his base when we're not looking... That said, I emptied him this morning and he'd picked up tons of fluff and dust, so he's definitely contributing. But we're not stopping the weekly hoover just yet.

Pleased with it
Pretty impressed with this little vacuum. Suction power not fabulous, it won’t totally replace my upright but as a daily little top up it’s worth buying. Will probably only need to use my proper one maybe twice a week now and we have a toddler. Definitely does best on hard floors and the more open plan the better. Watch it before you set it on automatic as it does get stuck in certain rooms if the threshold is high and you will need to learn which obstacles to get out of its way. It also can’t do rugs or mats, even low pile ones, as the brushes go underneath and lift them up. Battery power is a big positive, its a good hour and a half on a full charge which is just about enough to do my whole 4 bed house if I carry it upstairs. On the whole I’m happy with it. Maybe in the future I’ll go for an expensive one with better suction but I’ll still keep this one for upstairs. Good purchase.
