Good treadmill. Excellent delivery.
My daughter and I really like this treadmill. Easy to use and quiet. Paying for the delivery + setup was worth every penny! Two men brought it to where I wanted it in the house, assembled it much faster than I would have been able to, and made sure everything worked. They tidied up after themselves, too.

Functions like a treadmill
Amazon prime delivery was on time and efficient. No shipping damage, all the bits and pieces that were supposed to be in the box were in the box. You do need a Phillips head screwdriver and adjustable wrench for assembly. I, 55f and the only one in the house who reads instructions and makes sure all the pieces are there first, decided to put it together myself. It didn't feel like 2.5 hours but that's how long it took. Did I complain? A little. In Step 6 I carefully loosened/tightened four pre-attached screws in the handrails to get the larger screws/washers in place. Turn the page for Step 8 to read "if there are four screws pre-attached inside ... remove and discard them..." grumble. It's recommended you have a person help you hold to attach the console assembly but it's doable by yourself if you're flexible. I did need the second person for steps 13-15 (of 17) to hold the belt frame up while I attached the crossbar and storage latch. Yes, there are stickers and "warnings" stating that the treadmill is locked and will not start until activated at ifit.com. You do NOT need to enter your credit card information (find the small font that says skip or no thank you). You will still get the one month free trial. I do not like that I cannot input individual stats (height, weight, etc.) into the treadmill directly. Those fancy features come with the ifit app subscription. I did poke around the iFit programs a bit - would have been nice for it to limit what I could see to this particular machine; in other words there were plenty of programs that incline to 18% or 34% automatically - useless for this machine as it only goes to 10%. But, the walks/runs that take you on tours of places are neat. Would I buy into the subscription? Not unless it synchs with my Fitbit which it does not. Speaking of which, the treadmill pulse bar monitor and my Fitbit read are fairly close. I'm not sure about distance/steps because I keep forgetting to check...which is why synching would be nice. The machine lifts out of the way and lowers easily (not a feature we use regularly but it's there if needed). As with every other piece of exercise equipment we've ever owned, the built in speakers are not awesome. The lip at the bottom of the console holds phone/tablet admirably, if I could design it myself I would have it at the top so that I didn't have to look down to see my phone (as the ifit trainer is telling me to keep my head up). NOTE: none of the assembly steps in the manual indicate to attach the safety key. It's just pictured hanging off the pulse bar in the final step (it did not come attached, it's wrapped in a small bag with the screws etc.). You do need to have the red safety key in place on the pulse bar to make the machine work (there's a small indented area with a key logo). The important emergency information on how the *safety* part of the key works (if the clip is attached to you) is highlighted in the manual under HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER. Be safe. So far, we've had four family members of varying sizes use the machine on full workouts - walkers and runners. Haven't wanted to adjust cushioning, there's been no belt slippage and there have been no weird noises. For the price, we recommend it. UPDATE 3 months later: after browsing the iFit programs for a few days I found the functionality between the app and the treadmill to be what I needed in my life. I have an annual subscription (still don't need to leave your CC info with them permanently). Because I'm not just staring at the wall while using the machine I look forward to hopping on 5-6 days a week faithfully, traveling around the world - heck, I've even done a few virtual 5k races! Machine is still solid - I use it the most, but my husband is on it 3-4x/week and a teenager too. No squeaks or issues thus far.

Worth the money
For starters, very very heavy, which is great honestly, the parts are definitely made to last, very high quality hardware. You will need help to bring it inside, it weighed at least 300 lbs. Not the most compact when it folds up, but compact enough to save some space anyway. Surprisingly quiet, I can walk or jog at night while everyone else is sleeping, so thats a plus I didn't expect. Definitely good to last for a long while depending on your goals, I mostly use it for walking but good enough for jogging. Only complaint I have is on the packaging for the bolts and screws, its a little hard to get them out even with a knife, but you can make it work. If youre like me and you want something thats not so high tech and made to last within reason, this is the one to go with, its roomy enough for a big guy like me and its made of tough parts. Also, my compliments to the ones who shipped it, it showed up 10 days early

Mostly good, beware of the noise and narrow rails
Assembly was pretty easy, though I’m not sure how one person can do it all alone. I needed my husband twice- once to lift the bed out of the box and then again to hold the bed up while I installed the hydraulic arm. The bolts that need to be removed to install the arm require a #11 socket which was not included, the wrench that is included is 5/16 on both ends which was too large. Otherwise I found assembly to be quite easy with the tools provided. The instructions are clear enough, but I personally really hate how they’re written so recommend finding a video to assist. I had such a good inaugural run on this tonight. The treadmill is pretty loud though and my husband could hear me on it very clearly from the floor above (albeit it was directly below him). Now the super annoying part. I jumped off onto the rails doing sprint intervals during the run and noticed how narrow the rails are- they also tilt inwards and I nearly rolled my ankle. Then after the run I looked down and noticed the belt had eaten into the soles of my BRAND NEW $160 shoes! Because the rails are so narrow the whole sole of the shoe doesn’t fit and I didn’t even notice the belt sawing into them. Of course it’s more my fault than the machine’s which is why I didn’t deduct much from the rating but I’m still sad about it. But not THAT sad these can be the treadmill shoes and I can buy another pair for outdoors. All that considered- my husband got me this so I could continue training on bad weather days and it will do just fine for that!

I bought this treadmill during an unbeatable Amazon sale (thank you Amazon!!!) and added the very reasonable Room of Choice delivery plus a 2-year Asurion warranty for peace of mind. For the price, this treadmill is unbeatable. It’s a solid, full-sized treadmill that offers speeds up to 10 MPH (I’ll never get near that top speed 😅) and inclines up to 10%, which is a great way to add intensity to walking workouts. The hydraulic lift is a nice touch that's usually only seen on much higher end models and it makes the treadmill easy to fold up - it’s surprisingly lightweight when lifting the track. I also appreciate the thoughtful design details, like the small hole in the water bottle holder that prevents puddles if your water bottle drips. I can't comment on setup as I paid for the installation - I'm not a handy person but there are Yotube videos showing the installation process for those who are handy. Also, even though there's an ad included in the treadmill box saying to sign up with iFit before turning on the treadmill, I’ve never signed up for iFit and have had zero issues—zero lag time to start my treadmill workout, no unwanted pop-ups. I just press the power button at the front base (the "reset/off" button), hit “start” on the treadmill main panel and I’m good to go. You do not need to sign up for iFit whatsoever -once the treadmill is assembled, you can just turn it on and go. I watch shows on my iPad while walking/jogging, so I wasn't interested in the iFit subscription. Now, are there a couple of things that could improve with the treadmill? Sure - it could use a pause button (there is no pause button - it's either "stop" or "start"), I do wish there was a bit more track space before the front deck starts since in the beginning I did accidentally hit my foot/sneaker on the front deck (I'm used to it now and don't walk/jog as close to the front panel), and it could have other features that higher end treadmills have....but you know what? Then the price would be in a higher tier as well. If you’re looking for a dependable treadmill at a great value, this one is a no-brainer and I'm really happy with it. Finally, a huge shout-out to the Amazon delivery team (Brar and Amrit) who managed to get this treadmill into my basement—a tough job, and they handled it like pros.

Excelente caminadora.

It’s better than expected and it’s built super sturdy. I’m 6’2 and just under 260 lbs and it does everything that I need when it comes to sturdiness, tread size and functionality. The only down side is that you have to download an App and jump through a couple hoops in order to get it started, but once you get it started it’s easy to use and a solid buy. Also, delivery was a couple days late but given the world climate right now combined with the size, I wasn’t surprised. Prior to ordering on Amazon I had tried to order a treadmill straight from Horizon Fitness after lengthy research, but after the transaction was approved, a month later I was notified that they didn’t deliver to my location in the city, and I’m not sure if that was the actual reason given the high demand for home exercise equipment. That being said, when I searched on Amazon for a treadmill almost everything was “out of stock”, and with me being a bigger dude, I needed one that had the necessary specs to handle my size in order to get a good sweat on. So after further research on manufacturers and specs, I was lucky to find this unit that satisfied all my requirements/needs with only “2 left in stock” at a reasonable price, and it was delivered straight to my door and I’m super happy with it. With all that is happening in this upside down world right now, I recognize the need to support local business but in some circumstances that is extremely difficult, and say what you will about Amazon and their success during these trying times. In my experience, with an increase in online purchases, Amazon has in place the capacity, inventory and capabilities to deliver when needed. I know that there is much controversy surrounding Amazon with their employee practices and their social, environmental and political impacts as well, but given the current world climate Amazon has continued to deliver consumer goods and necessities in a timely fashion in order to provide some semblance of normalcy during these trying times and I can respect that. That being said, I also believe that Amazon has the ability, the resources and the social responsibility to do more to help their hard working employees and their worldwide community of consumers/supporters as many local businesses that support their communities are currently struggling to stay alive while Amazon thrives. In conclusion, you can tell that I have some extra time on my hands given the length of this review, and with the current world climate, home exercise equipment is as, if not more popular during a pandemic than toilet paper. If you’re lucky enough to be able to get one of these units given the current supply and demand... enjoy! Moreover, if you’ve read this far into this review, to quote the legendary Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod, “stay fit and stay safe!”

The NordicTrack T 6.5 S is a sturdy, well-built treadmill that offers a smooth and quiet running experience. The motor runs quietly even at higher speeds, and the deck provides decent cushioning, making it joint-friendly. It feels stable during use—no wobbling or creaking—which is impressive for a treadmill in this price range. That said, installation was moderately difficult due to the treadmill's weight and awkward assembly steps. It’s definitely a two-person job. Moving it around is no joke—it’s heavy and bulky, so plan accordingly if you need to take it upstairs or into tight spaces. Now, the Room-of-Choice delivery experience via Amazon was absolutely pathetic and disappointing. There was no prior call or coordination, and the delivery team arrived unannounced. They walked into my home with dirty shoes and no shoe covers, showing a total lack of professionalism. Worse, they were ill-equipped to handle a heavy item. They dragged the treadmill box across my entryway, scratching the floor in the process. When asked to take it upstairs, they refused, saying it was too heavy and offered to drag it—something I declined to avoid damage. I eventually had to help them move it myself, which defeats the purpose of a paid delivery service. To make matters worse, when I contacted Amazon about the poor delivery and property damage, their response was unhelpful and dismissive, offering no real resolution or accountability. Compared to this, Costco's delivery service is miles better—timely, respectful, and well-equipped. As for the tech features, while the treadmill is iFit-compatible, the iFit experience itself is not essential. Unless you're really into subscription-based guided workouts, it's more of a gimmick. You can use the treadmill perfectly well without iFit, and most of the core functionality works just fine without it.
