Perfect cracker fillings to enjoy after dinner

I never write bad reviews but on this occasion I feel compelled to do so to avoid other customers being bitterly disappointed with this product.I bought this as a gift for my Sister and was with her when she opened it. Her initial delight at the gift soon turned to disappointment. The chocolates had leaked inside the plastic bag. There was no liqueur inside of the chocolates which had "white bloom" on them suggesting that they were old, the sell by date on the tin was July 25, this date was just on a sticker at the bottom of the tin. I have seen the mixed reviews on this product and it seems to be the luck of the draw whether you receive "fresh" chocolates or old ones that are near (or even past) their sell by date. The manufacturers really should not be allowed to sell these, especially as they are luxury items which are usually bought as gifts. Had I not been with my Sister when she opened them I may not have known how bad they were. I wonder how many of these have been given as gifts and nothing has been said by the recipient. Please save your money

Lovely chocolates & good amount of liquor in each one.

Chunky delish chocolate, healthy (maybe healthy is the wrong word ) quantity of liquor, so good we treat ourselves every year, now our friends love them to. Would love more pears in it though

This was part of a Christmas present for my daughter on law, who is lactose intolerant, and so it is great to be able to give her choccies. She loved them and appreciated the gift.

Initially very pleased but gone off them. No crystalised surgar internal coating. Just plain chocolate. Why do all recognised need a sugar coating but these don't?. Worrying.
