Can I use it for leather recliner sofa?

They didn't work well with a leather swivel chair.

What about couches wih recliners on each end

I can't personally answer that. I was never able to get the tucks in. I was afraid to push real hard on them because they do have the rectangular shape and the edges are somewhat rounded. But I have a leather couch and I was not about to chance it. Sorry I couldn't help you.

I found that they would work for a little while, but the more you get up and down , the covers come out.

Will these work for water proof backing sofa covers?

Truthfully I don’t think so because of the type of fabric.
