HYUNDAI 81447-4D500 Actuator Motor

I saw some guys youtube video about using this part to repair the door lock actuators on Kia Sedona minivans. The dealer only offers the whole assembly for over $250, this did the trick and "upgraded" it as well for a fraction of the cost.You can see in my pic that the old motor had a plastic gear that broke. Even though the metal gear on this one is shorter than the plastic gear on the old one it works perfectly. Genuine KIa part to boot.

It replaced an existing burned out motor. It arrived quite early considering the shipping issues during pandemic. It was the second time that I ordered it. The first time failed but I was reimbursed.

I recently got this motor from amazon. Fixed my binding door issue. If your door opens fine when you pull on the handle, but gets stuck when you try the remote, then this motor is probably the issue. Mine was arcing and burning out, even producing smoke. Had no torque left after running for 8 years. You should feel comfortable taking things apart and be mechanically inclined before you try this repair yourself.

I've installed the product in my Hyundai Entourage 2007. I do not often tinker with mechanics, however generally I can say that it was straight forward process. The product fit well and after installed the power door became operational again. Hopefully it will last a few years.
