This is a great little machine. Yes. You have to play with it a little to get the buttons just right, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. This is my first button machine. I never used one before and this was pretty easy. I am not sure how long it will last because it's some sort of hard plastic, but for the price it's great.

Amazing. The instructions and troubleshooting works amazing. The lubricant did get on my hand, but I was poking around anyway. Be mindful of that before giving to younger children. The metal button bits are flimsy, and can get misshaped, but as long as you’re not extremely rough, it’s fine. 4% of the buttons fell off the plastic backs after correctly making them, and static can lift the protective film and shifting it out of place. But when the buttons are made correctly, they are sturdy and long lasting

I absolutely LOVE this button maker! I used it to create custom “Science Fair Participant” buttons, and it made the whole process so smooth and fun. Wonderful product I’m not going to lie after reading the reviews I was a little nervous about buying this item but it was the only one that was in my budget. NOW I will say the only reason for the 4 star is because the circle cutter that came with this machine was already cracked and it broke, but that doesn’t really bother me because I just cut out my paper anyways so it’s okay. I did have some troubles trying to assemble but it was easy plus I had some help from my dad and it’s actually so simple to use I think most of these bad reviews are simply just user error 😭😭 Genuinely this was the easiest thing to use after putting it together. I’ve made so many pins with this thing already and I LOVE IT so obsessed with this. I’ve had it for a couple of days now and it’s been so amazing! I want to try and get different size molds for this in the future, so we shall see how that turns out but all in all this was an amazing product and so worth it great price as well and easy to use when you get used to it!!!!

I volunteered to make some buttons for our Parent Teacher Club so I scoured the web for a reasonably priced button maker that would also function well enough. This is one of the lower priced units, plus it came with supplies to make 100 buttons. After reading the 1-star reviews, I was fully prepared to have troubles operating it, but the first one I attempted came out perfectly. Everything set, and the end result was great. I went on to make 10 total, and out of that, 2 failed. I’m certain it was user-error, but I’m not 100% sure what I did wrong. I did notice the metal backing sometimes stick together, and dropping them on the table allowed them to separate. It very well could be that the first one I made had two metal backings but I didn’t know it. It could also be that I simply didn’t press hard enough. Either way, a loss of 2 out of 10 was acceptable to me, given this is the first time I’ve ever used a button making machine. I would say it takes some practice to get the right feel. I’m currently trying to figure out how to align the pin correctly as it seems no matter how hard I try, it ends up crooked. Good thing I have supplies for 90 more buttons to perfect my process.

I got the 58mm. I’ve used it to make pins for myself and my friends multiple times now. The only time the pins came out wrong is from user error. Great for ita bags or making pins of OCs/things you like

Very nice product, durable and easy to use. Requires a little bit of trial and error. Takes up very little space. It was perfect for the team buttons I made and had leftovers for my upcoming Disney Trip—seals perfectly every time, as long as there is no human error. Wish there was a way to make multiple-size buttons, but it states that they are only 2.25 in.

It’s a decent start up button maker but I would just rather invest in a better quality. 6 months later and I’ve only made like 45 buttons and the maker is already malfunctioning. One of the springs popped out and I luckily was able to put it back in but now it’s very hard to align in order for it to clamp down and now one of the points where it’s like a guide for you to know which way to lay your photo or pin is about to break off because the alignment is off. You also have to align the pin part a little off center or else your buttons will be crooked. It no longer works for me properly and i still have like 55 More pieces
