Alive! Max Potency Liquid Multivitamin

I've added this to my daily (although I've missed a couple days here and there) routine for about two months now and I just reordered my second bottle. I'm not exactly taking a full dose, just because I'm also taking other supplements and need to be careful not to consume to much of certain vitamins that are in both. I take my others in the morning and take this in the evening when I eat dinner. The flavor is not my absolute favorite, but it's not awful. If you'd have told 6 year old me, I'd willingly take liquid medicine daily I would've laughed in your face! I used to puke as a kid trying to take liquid meds, haha, this doesn't make me gag. I take it like a shot and chase it with water. I started taking it because I'm currently on a weightloss journey and because of that, my appetite has greatly decreased and I was worried I wasn't getting the micronutrients I needed from my diet. The alternatives available on the market like Grunns gummies are so expensive. This was much more cost effective. I've definitely seen the benefits of taking it. My hair seems to be healthier (it was thinning due to selenium deficiency/underactive thyroid so I think this is helping with that as it has selenium and my weight loss), I broke through a plateau, and the ridges in my nails have gone away. My nails also seem to be stronger and are growing faster; it was the longest they've ever gone without breaking. They got annoyingly long and I had to trim them, haha...normally one breaks before that happens.

Having taken all kinds of supplements for the last 36 years of my life, I rate this one as an excellent product. In spite of taking numerous supplements already for years, I still felt that something was missing. Once I started on Nature's Way Alive Liquid Multi, I experienced an unexpected result: I started feeling much more clear-minded, much sharper, as if my brain had been woken up. And it was NOT in a stimulating kind of way like for example caffeine would do. It was a mental sharpness in a calm kind of way, it is hard to explain. Another unexpected effect was that my skin started looking much smoother. Of course, with this many ingredients, I have no idea which ones are causing the noticeable benefits, but in the end all that matters is that I can actually feel a big difference. I also noticed that I wake up in the morning without that tired "dragging myself out of bed" feeling that had haunted me for years. This may be one of the most noticeable effects for me: The fact that I can now get out of bed easily and feel rested and alert, without having to gulp down my coffee first. I put the 1 OZ. of liquid and measure it in a small glass shot-glass that has measurements markings on it, so that I know exactly how much I pour. I then drink it quickly straight out of the shot-glass and I must say, the taste does not bother me at all. I had tasted that kind of "background" or "base" taste before in a L-Carnitine liquid supplement that I was taking. Somewhat "citrusy". One quick swig and it is gone down. It is a strong taste, but like other posters have said: "We should not expect the syrupy taste of a "children's supplement," it is meant for adults. Again, I can't say that I am bothered by the taste. It is definitely NOT nasty in my opinion. It just tastes.....potent. Even if it WOULD have tasted like dirt, I still would have taken it, based on the way it makes me feel: More balanced physically, as well as mentally. I tried skipping a week or 2 to see if it made a difference and it sure did. So I am back on it and intent to keep purchasing it for as long as it is made. I purchased 2 "back-up bottler" in the meantime. At first I was not expecting to feel any difference from taking this supplement, thinking it was just another product of many......but I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a keeper for me!!!

Would give it a 5, will explain later. From searching other health shakes, this one is the best I have found online (has the most and highest percentage of vitamins), and the price is a little better also. I hardly ever skip this product during my supplement routine, because it covers sooo many vitamins. I have been taking this for years (even when it was in a powdered form) and yes, the urine will get a little darker to let you know the vitamins are really in there and working. Don't be too concerned with all the negatives about the taste. I put it with my collogen shake and does not taste bad at all. If you are 100% sensitive to vegetable shakes-like a kid-ok, but after taking vitamin-vegetable for years, I don't understand the 'bad taste' comments. There are terrible tasting vitamins and shakes, this is NOT one of them. Con, kinda makes me made. The comment about filling up a cap full and guessing the correct dosage is true. Should state on the cap the amount. Also, when you put the cap on...tightly, it still always drips down the side of the bottle to your fridge, and leaves a solid green stain in the fridge. We all know, that if you're complaining about this, hundreds of others have complained about this also. I have called to company to fix this-deaf ears. I do not want to take this product for decades and have to always clean my fridge, my hands when grabbing it. Like soo many other companies, kinda shamefull to have and easy fix and not be willing to listen to your customers to fix and important simple problem.

This was perfect for my husband who is a Veteran from Vietnam and Desert Storm. After so many years of service plus other stressful jobs his PTSD and exposure to chemicals prevented him from having any appetite and his health isnt good, and is very underweight, tires easily has dry bad skin, etc He took to this liquid vitamin like a fish to water, after only a few days his appetite improved and already he had a glow to his skin tone, sleeping better, filling out, much better general disposition and atamina, etc I confess I am also giving him CBD oil, but I see how his entire system just soaked up all the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients and its really done him a world of good. He mixes it in water as the taste is very viamknny, like kids Flinstones multiplied by 10 but I dont recommend mixing with other beverages. First he tried it with iced tea and it was horrible! I thought I,d support him and take this along with him but after only a week I had a massive green diarrhea attack , my body just couldnt take it, but I suspect it was because everyday I eat raw celery, carrots, berries, oranges, nuts, etc so maybe this product was like an overdose, and my body rejected it.He, on the other hand, now after taking this product for 6 weeks, has not had any problems digesting it and has actually experienced much improvent with his digestion and stomach, esp. in the early morning when before he strated taking this product he couldnt eat breakfast, couldnd keep anything in witjout having stomach pain, and had to go to the bathroom around 3 am. All this has stopped, its like a miracle.what is mind boggling is, no doctor ever thought to prescribe him with liquid vitamins or even do any blood tests to see if he had any deficiencies in that area. Leave it to a simple wife to figure it out..... Therefore I would highly recommend it for people who have a great need of replenishing their system, and have had issues with proper dietary intake. In these cases, this product is absolutly amazing.

THIS IS THE NON-CITRUS FLAVORED -- I just noticed that this is available in Citrus Flavor (do an amazon search), I would defiantly be purchasing the citrus flavor next time. Just a regular guy's review... It took a few days to start feeling better. I'm anemic and just got tired of being tired. I've drank Ensure and it is tasty, but doesn't have the trace minerals or a fraction of the % of vitamins, etc that you find in Alive! I compared several products and for amount of ingredients and modest cost it's a winner. Regardless of comments, I didn't get a 'wow' energy boost overnight. Taste Tip: When I first got it I tried to mix it with Kool-Aid, and other drinks to improve the flavor. Honestly, the best way to take it is fill a glass with 4-5oz of water, stir in a capful and just chug it fast (mixing in about 5 dashes of Louisiana/Texas Pete/ or Tabasco sauce really cuts down on the ick taste). Quick, painless and only a few seconds of aftertaste. Trying to drink this with a big glass of water or mixing it with anything just makes it horrid. Really Boosting Energy: What I do is drink a can of Java Monster (mean bean) with my lunch to give me that 'wow' energy boost. I like Java Monster (mean bean) because it doesn't have a ton of caffeine to give you the jitters and unlike other 'energy drinks' does have vitamins and many of the ingredients that you will find in Alive! With this combo my energy has really increased I feel better and can't believe that the black bags under my eyes are finally going away. Without the wake-up-tiredness I've also cut down to about 1 cup of coffee in the morning to maybe once or twice a week. CONS: The bottle needs a cap that lets you squirt out exactly 1 oz of liquid at a time. Pouring a capful or pouring into another container gets the cap & fridge messy after a few times.

So far so good for a complete vitamin and supplement product.

There is nothing good I can say about this product. I tried masking the taste in a smoothie with cocoa, banana, peanut butter, etc but it is HORRIBLE and unpalatable. I could barely choke it down then felt like throwing it up. I have a very strong stomach and can eat anything but this stuff made me gag. If you like horrible tasting foods then this might be for you. Plus it has a long lasting aftertaste that you cannot get rid of no matter how much water you drink after. I hate to be so negative about a product but this is just my opinion. I only bought it because I was trying to save a few bucks over the liquid vitamins I usually get. But it turns out they are the same price in the long run. I can't say the name of the product but when I mix it in my morning smoothie, well, I think to myself the same thing every day, "this is the best thing I've ever had". No lie. It comes in a blue bottle. I can say it did not upset my tummy. I still have it in the fridge because I hate to throw away money so if anyone wants it, you can have it for free. Otherwise $30 in the garbage.

I just recently bought this about 3 weeks ago. I'm an RN but have always been big in natural healing and vitamins, minerals and such. I have several health problems and take meds and don't eat as well or as much as I should and I know I needed more nutritional help as far as vitamins and minerals go. I have been looking for something that fits the bill on a multivitamin mineral formula with a few good other nutritional things thrown in. Alive ! seemed to fit the bill so far. I am a little concerned with double the amount of Vitamin A in this as it is more than what we need, and the fat soluble vitamins, A,D&E are stored in our system. The water soluble vitamins such as the B's and C are flushed out what we don't need. Because of this, I am only taking 1/2 a dose daily and then a whole dose every 3 days to keep the vitamin A as normal as possible. Most people do need extra D and I also take it on it's own because I am deficient in this, so the D in Alive doesn't bother me much. As for the looks and taste. It looks like blackish brownish green slime , fortunately it doesn't taste like what it appears to represent. lol As for the taste..I didn't expect a good flavor..I've yet to find a vitamin that tasted good. To me, it tastes like a frozen chunk of orange juice out of the can. No real aftertaste other than the OJ taste but it does kind of burn my stomach for awhile if I haven't eaten much of anything.But It hasn't made me nauseated yet or caused any other problems yet. I'll continue to take this.. at least this bottle and see how I feel once it's gone before I order more. I hope it is as good as others seem to think.
