Make sure that fuel is staying fresh with STA-BIL Diesel Fuel Stabilizer And Performance Improver. This fuel treatment will keep diesel fuel fresh for up to a year and prevents sludge and sediment from forming in your tank. The additive package in this formula cleans and lubricates fuel injectors and pumps and protects against corrosion. Diesel fuel can oxidize due to thermal breakdown this formulation protects the fuel from oxidation and removes water that bacteria, fungus and algae require to grow. Emergency storage diesel
I purchased this to stabilize the diesel fuel that I have stored for an emergency power generator for my house. Every six months I empty the storage tank into my diesel vehicle and burn it as vehicle fuel and then replace the fuel in the storage tank with some Diesel Sta-Bil. Now I don't worry about the degeneration of the fuel during the six months it was sitting.

Keeps fuel fresh
Small amount treats large quantities. Purchase large container when buying fuel in quantity (55 gal barrels) to make cost more effective. Also recommended by many manufacturers to make their engines conform to EPA standards.

Great product!!!!
Great product. I was having trouble with my cat 300 hp engine in my motorhome missing, since using the sta bill and keeping the fuel tank full I have had no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend this product.

Great product but wish I knew it is only good for two years. I bought too much.
I bought the big jug figuring I'd always need it and its a much better deal but apparently it expires after two years in the jug.

StaBil not just for boats
Haven't used for long but am on our third tank of additive fuel and I feel a difference in throttle response and mileage. Mixing is a bit of a pain due to difficulty in obtaining a proper small dispenser that has a long snout but I resolved this with a recycled car fuel injector bottle.
