Does it help cold symptoms?

This stuff works, my family took this for flu. Symptoms were gone in 2 1/2days. You have to start taking as soon as symptoms start , and every 8 hours. I only had to take for 3 days, My daughter just came down with cold symptoms, she felt so bad, I immediately started this, in 45 min , she said she felt better. She took for 3 days, cold never came back , I keep this in my medicine cabinet.

Can I go ahead and give my children the medicine to prevent getting the flu? How long will the medicine last as prevention for the flu?

First, I have been using homeopathy for myself and my family for the last 30 years. I have even used it to treat the polio flu virus (as my daughter cannot have vaccinations as she is severely allergic to egg whites). I currently have pulmonary fibrosis caused by inhalation of a toxic chemical from a product installed in my home 15 years ago. If I get a respiratory flu, I will need to be hospitalized. At 71, the risk is even greater than it was at the time of the initial exposure. I cannot get a flu shot (as I cannot risk even this supposedly inocuous exposure to the flu. Therefore, for the past 15 years, I have taken a single dose weekly each flu season (Nov. - March). I have not gotten the flu even when I have been exposed to it! My husband, now age 74, does not take this remedy weekly and has, gotten the 'initial' warnings of the flu. When he does, I then give him 3 doses....12 hours apart. If he takes it at the beginning of the symptoms, 12 hours later and then again 12 hours later, by the next day he feels fine. When my children were in high school, I gave them 3 doses (in the same manner) if they were exposed to someone with the flu. If they got symptoms, they recovered quickly. HOWEVER!!! If one waits until the flu symptoms have taken hold, this remedy will not give the same results. Although, taken as directed, it may lessen the symptoms or shorted the duration. I would not count on that for myself. Washington Homeopathics does have a remedy (INFLUENZIUM 12C) for the flu. I have some of this in case my husband does not catch the initial symptoms. So far, we have never had to use it.
