Best pen! I am a nurse and write a lot during my shifts. These are the best in darkness of color, no smearing, no skipping and keeps my notes neat.

I was trying to decide which type of Pilot Precise pens I prefer most, and this is the model that takes the cake. The v10 writes in a nice, bold line weight and flows effortlessly. On top of that, the retractability is super convenient and has given me no issues. I always would be annoyed with what to do with the caps while writing with the OG v5 and v7 pens, and this solves that. The line weight is right under an Extra Fine Point Sharpie basically, and my writing feels fleshed out and sturdy, which I like. If you are going to be writing smaller than ~14pt font, consider the v7 retractable-- I actually keep one of those on my desk that I can switch to in the event I need to write smaller. But nine times out of ten, I am using the v10 and loving it.

Best pens for writing if you write a lot.

The pen writes so smooth and in clear bold lines! My only critique is that the metal clip will sometimes dig into my hand when I get excited.

Love the glide of the pen, can smudge have to be careful, but they’re glossy, good tip, I love writing with them
