Perfect for petites
Petite women's sizes are usually too long for me. I am a 5' tall woman who weighs 93 lbs, with a 27"waist and a 27" inseam. I bought the 9011 grey in a size 14 (large), and they fit perfectly with a belt. The shorts come to the knee. I wish the shorts were a few inches shorter, but I can easily live with it. I previously tried both a size Medium (10-12) and a Large (14-16) in a popular brand that starts with a "C", and the Medium was too small, while the Large was too big. Not to mention that the pant legs were too wide at the bottom. Not so with these pants. I was disappointed when the industry changed the standard sizing for big kids from Large being 12-14, to 14-16, because not much seems to fit anymore. I do wish there were back pockets, which there are not, but the front pockets are plenty big and deep. There is a relatively small pocket on the side of the leg which helps. I will probably order another color. Note that some colors look like a different style, so, you may not get what you thought you were ordering. I ordered colors that didn't look bunched up at the waist, and so far, that's what I received.

Great pants, but too small
My son is 8, 4’ 6”, & weighs 85 lbs. These pants would have been perfect for camping and hiking, but they were VERY small.

Light weight and roomy. Runs big.
Lightweight and roomy. Good for keeping cool while hiking. My son likes it. He’s allergic to sunscreen so these pants help him avoid the harmful sun rays without the need of sunblock with shorts or being too hot in other long pants. $30 for kiddie pants is pricey but for us it’s worth it to continue to be able to hike on sunny days. They do run big. My son is 8 yrs old and the small 8-9 is very long. We rolled down the waist once and still had to fold up from the bottom as well. More room for him to grow into this and wear a tear more than expected!

Great quality pants
The only thing I frown on is the ability for my son to unzip the sleeve. Other than that, I love the quality.

BoyScout Alternative
These are perfect for Scouting and hiking. Lightweight- and they do run more fitted in the butt and on the small side.

Nice pants but Not waterproof
I bought these pants for my son who is taking a trackers class. It is advertised as waterproof and is the reason why I bought it. It hasn’t rained before when he wore it so I couldn’t review but this weekend it happened to rain on the day of his class and he was completely soaked. The pants were not waterproof. His shoes are waterproof but his pant legs got wet and the water soaked through to his socks making his feet all wet from the inside because of the socks. And even his underwear was wet.

HUGE!!
Why are these so big?? My 3.5 year old wears either a 5T or boys xs normally. He's 3'7" and about 37lbs. I ordered a 5T and these are EASILY 4 sizes too big for him. The pants say xxs on the tag but they fit him like a boys medium. Bought them for his camping trip but he can't wear these. Waste of money.
