The pad of paper was the only useful thing
Poorly designed game. This edition assumes you know a little bit about London (and foreign zip codes) to begin with. I found the only useful thing to be the giant pad of paper included for "clue finding". Not sure what we were supposed to take notes on.

Very confusing
I paid a lot of money for this escape room for my aunts birthday. We have done several escape rooms but this one was very disappointing. Not at all worth the money!

Absolute garbage
The first rule of an escape room is that all the information you need to solve puzzles should be provided somehow. This "escape room" for some reason started with a quiz about obscure London facts. I sure hope you have a list of all the London tube station names memorized, because you're gonna need that information beforehand, for some reason. It also has the game host hide things in places that you would never even look in a real escape room, so be prepared to hint to the rest of the players so heavily that you might as well just give them the answer. I could say more, but basically every step of the way, this game is confusing and nonsensical in terms of what it expects of the players.

Too confusing to be fun
So confusing. We do a lot of escape rooms and had high hopes because we’re traveling to London later this year. We were all thoroughly confused at what to do. We’d find clues but we’d already solved the answer the clue led us to, some things you need to have a lot of prior knowledge or use your phone to look up. We spent a lot of time googling answers and had to use all the hints to even make sure we were on the right track. The box and contents are really cool and I think if we’d set it up more like a room maybe it would have been more fun but we really didn’t enjoy being so confused. Plus it was super expensive compared to other escape boxes and there wasn’t anything other than nice paper in it.

Absolutely Horrible
No one must've actually played this before they boxed it up and put it on the market. It's horrible. My family loves puzzles and escape rooms, but this was dreadful.First, one of the puzzles requires you to solve it to figure out where game pieces are hidden. The instructions tell you to hide one of the pieces needed to solve that puzzle in that hidden location. There are a bunch of graffiti alphabet and number pieces. That puzzle was horrible.Be prepared to use Google and Google Maps. They give you a map for a puzzle, so you'd assume that map has all the information for the game. Nope. You're supposed to get online and figure out where a lost river and nearby pub are. And there are multiple pubs so likely you'll guess wrong. So, so bad. Waste of money. Wouldn't even buy it used. Not even at a yard sale. Would give it zero stars if possible.

Disappointed
So disappointed. A group of experienced escape roomers, including boxed escape rooms, were so frustrated at the lack of clarity in this game. We read every hint in the end and still couldn't figure it out without reading thr solution. The "interactive" ending was the answer check at the end. And the plot was nonexistent. We didn't even want to save the artist by the end (and he was beyond dead by the time we finished). Do not buy. There are much better escape boxes.

Just terrible
This was the *worst* escape room game I've ever played. Some issues were incredibly easy while others were near impossible without looking at the hints. Just straight bad. We did have a great time playing, but that's because we kept insulting it the entire time.

Unsolvable
After an hour we only figured out one clue. After we read the answers we still couldn’t figure out how to solve the puzzle. Poorly created, made no sense! Don’t buy!

Thrilled beyond words!!
Easy to setup and fun once the game is on! The excitement of hosting a party and having everyone ask where you got the “game” is a good feeling! Simple instructions and well put together. Super thrilled with this purchase!
