Awesome shaft for my broken 4 hybrid. Works better than the one that came on it ;)
I ordered a 4 hybrid directly from Wilson and it arrived with a shattered shaft. After they refunded my money I figured why not put a new shaft on the head and get a custom club for half the price!I was able to easily use a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut the shaft on the grip end to get it to the correct size. I used some painters tape and there was absolutely no breaking or slivers. After a little sand paper I slipped on a new Lamkin grip and used some 2 part epoxy to attach the head and I was off to the races (or actually the range)!The club head has a higher launch profile so after adding this low-mid launch shaft it was exactly what I hoped for. Nice and stiff and even better the shaft came well packed so I wasn’t worried about nicks or dents causing it to fail long term. It’s nice and stiff and overall I couldn’t have asked for a better shaft on my hybrid.
