Bought this for the study and always dubious about products that have varied reviews.Cons:The plastic is a bit flimsey but more than adequate as all it does is look pretty on the ceiling. It was a little bit of a challenge to mount and an extra pair of hands is a help. I had to use a very tiny cable tie to hold one end flush with itself but that could be just me wanting a perfect job. Don't bother with the instructions as such as they will just confuse you. Chinese English!Pros:Love it!I mounted the remote on the wall next to the switch which is a huge help.What is brilliant about this light, that I've never seen before, is that it flows from cool white to warm white with such ease. I'm not a lover of cool white but it can have its uses when needed and because of this lights versitility, the low dim setting on cool white is my favourite. It has many settings which can be saved so play away. It will save the last setting used so all you need to do is to turn the main light on and there it is.I very rarely write reviews but chose to write this as I've just bought another for my son's place, so it can't be that bad and will probably still have a swear up in the same places on instalation.You do need a littlen bit of DIY expertise to get the full benifit of this light as it's not plug and play but the effort is worth it. I hope this review will help you make a decision.
